𝙶𝚒𝚛𝚕𝚜, 𝙶𝚒𝚛𝚕𝚜, 𝙶𝚒𝚛𝚕𝚜 - 𝙼ö𝚕𝚝𝚢 𝙲𝚛ü𝚎

The song Angel could be heard all throughout the house as the three girls jammed out to their favorite artist. Max was singing along with a hair brush while Bea and El sat on the brunette's bed, flipping through magazines.

Eleven turned to a page with a hot tanned boy. "Oh, you found Ralph Macchio." Max chuckles at El's expression as she kneels at the bed.

Bea's eyes snapped up. Don't tell Will, but she is head over heels in love with the karate kid. "Ralph Macchio?" She asks excitedly.

She snatched the magazine from Eleven's hands and drooled at the sight. El turns to Max, concerned for her friend, so the red head explains.

"Beatrice has a slight crush on him. He's an actor. He's the karate kid. Hai-yah!" Max pretends to karate chop El's leg.

"Slight crush isn't the right word." Bea corrects as she looks back at her friends with a sheepish smile. "Love is too simple to say about an actor I've never met. So, let's say I'm infatuated with him."

"He's so hot, right?" Max asks Eleven. "I bet he's an amazing kisser, too." Bea hums in agreement. "Hey, uh... is Mike a good kisser?"

El shrugs. "I don't know. He's my first boyfriend."

"Ex-boyfriend. What about Will, Bea?" Max throws the question at her best friend. The room was silent. Max began to wonder if the girl was too focused on the actor to respond so, she turns to look at her friend who hasn't answered her. "Hey, Bea. Beatrice? You, okay?"

Bea gasps when Max places her hand on her shoulder. "I— I'm sorry. What did you say?"

"We were wondering if you were okay. Are you?" This time, Eleven asks the girl. The two leaned forward in worry.

"Um, yeah. Just zoned out for a second. Happens all the time." She shrugs and waved her hand in the air.

"Yeah it used to when... things were happening." Max pushes, sounding concerned for her friend.

"Well, that was a different zoning out. I was just zoning out like a normal person would. No banshee instincts involved." She hides her lie by speaking really fast. Beatrice doesn't want to worry her friends. And besides, everything is over and done with. El closed the gate.

"Well, how would you feel if we spied on the boys?" Eleven suggests.

"Wait, you can do that? Like spy on them with your mind?" El nods at Max's question.

"Who's the stalker now?" Bea laughs at Max. She used to call Lucas a stalker. Oh, how the tables turned.

Max switched the radio station to static and Eleven put a blindfold on. The latter was sitting in front of her desk while the others were across from her, sharing the bed.

"Is this really gonna work?" Max asks, a little too excited. El nods. "Holy shit, this is insane."

"Max."

"Yeah, quiet. I'm sorry."

Both girls watched as Eleven sat there in the middle of the room. She was quiet for a couple minutes until— "I see them."

"All three of them?" She nods. "What are they doing?" The girls come forward and sit on the floor.

"Eating." Well I could've told you that.

"They say we are 'species'." Eleven repeats whatever they said in the void.

"What?"

"'Emotion, not logic'."
