Everyone rushed out of the car and back into the mall. Not before Billy made eye contact with Beatrice and revved the engine once more.

Mike was trying to get a hold of Scoops Troop through the walkie. Nancy was looting off of the Russian guards and Lucas was stretching out his wrist rocket.

"Just like my drawing." Beatrice chewed on her thumb as she stood between Will and Max.

"What?" The girl next to her asked.

"Billy's car. His windshield was cracked, just like my drawing," Bea explains, thinking back to her Banshee Book.

"Didn't you draw that, what, before we even met Max?" Will wonders.

"Yep," Bea says popping the 'p'. Lifting her head as Mike walks by, pacing as he continues to reach the others, she says, "And that's from my book, too."

The others followed her eyes and spot the red car that Eleven flipped over. This sprouted an idea in both Nancy and Jonathan. The car probably has its own ignition cable which they can take and put into their car to get away!

But as soon as Max and Eleven stared at the car as well, everything started to piece itself together. All of this is meant to happen. That's why Bea predicted Billy's car, the hospital, the red door, the green substance that Scoops Troop told them about, and now the red car.

They are meant to go through all this pain.

Bea is meant to go through it all.

Nancy and Jonathan couldn't flip the car on their own, so they called the kids over — except El — to help. They weren't getting anywhere so Eleven suggested that she could take a swing at it. After some convincing, they watched her try her best, but it didn't work. She was still weak from before. It was Mike's idea to grab the tension barriers used to separate lines and push the car back onto its wheels.

Bea stood by Lucas and Will as they watched the older couple look for the ignition. Then Beatrice heard a rumbling sound. She felt it in her gut that something was wrong, so she turned and noticed Will's hand on the back of his neck. She spun around to the middle of the food court and quickly yelled at Max and Mike, "Guys! Get out of the way!" They grabbed El and hid just in time as the skylight shattered and the Mind Flayer fell through.

Bea, Will, Lucas, Nancy and Jonathan all hid behind the car. Beatrice tried to steady her breathing but it wasn't working at the idea that Max, Eleven and Mike didn't find a hiding spot in time. Will had to cover his girlfriend's mouth just so the monster wouldn't hear her heavy breathing.

They could hear the walkie-talkie going off near the creature. "Griswold Family, I repeat, this is Scoops Troop! Do you—" Dustin's yelling was cut off when that pile of flesh grabbed the walkie, roared into it, and threw it away, smashing it into pieces.

Hey! That was bought with their hard-earned money!

Beatrice's eyes filled with fear as she stared into her boyfriend's, his mimicking hers. He raised his finger to his lips as a way to tell her that she needed to be quiet. She nodded her head slowly and he dropped his hand from her mouth. She then grabbed his right hand tightly.
