14 - Pain

Chapter 14

     Days Later ...

It had been ages since i'd last seen darnell. Cashel had spoken to me a couple of times and so had lizzie. They had both sensed something was going on between me and Darnell. It was friday today ..THANK GOD! I couldn't wait to get back home and sleep. Lazily i dragged my feet across the corridor towards english. I sat down next to Cashel who FOR ONCE was earlier than me!

"Woow, you're actually here before me!"

"Loool yeah well .." He said shrugging

I put my bag down and settled down bringing my folder out ..

"You coming to smirkz's yard after school?" He asked me

"And why would i do that?"

"Everyones gonna be there. Kinda like a mini party" He said

"Okay well have fun"

"Ahhh lowe it man. Come for me.." He said giving me a puppy look

"I'll think about it .."

He grinned as we focused our attention back to the lesson. My other lessons were quite a breeze which was really good. I walked into the canteen ..Liz was already comfortable with michael. I grinned at her as she gestured for me to come over. I sat next to Cashel who AGAIN ..happened to be near Darnell. Darnell didn't even acknowledge my presence. He was with that girl again. Cashel was talking amongst his friends and lizzie was with michael leaving me sitting there awkwardly occasionally pinging a few people.

School was nearly over and i just couldn't wait. My coursework could wait till tomorrow if im totally honest. The bell rang indicating that lesson time was beginning soon.

"I'll see you later at mine babe" I heard HIM say ..he lowered his lips to hers

"Bye baby" She said giggling and walking off

I watched as he spudded his guys and walked off ..I felt that burning sensation in me again ..but I shrugged it off

Towards the end of the day I was feeling ill again ..my belly was huuurting! I walked home despite the pain. I dont think i was hungry ...but either way I stopped at the shops to get some snacks.

At home I lay in my bed listening to music and eating my snacks. My belly ache was getting better ..hmm maybe i was hungry. I had got home really early ..it had just gone past 4. Maybe i'd pop round darnell's house later on..

I opened my eyes and realised that i'd fallen asleep. I looked at my alarm clock which read 18:03. I felt my blackberry vibrate..

Cash:

- You still coming?

Cass❤️:

-Yeaah im on my way.

I freshened up and wore my jeans, air maxes and a crop top that literally stopped at my belly button. I wore my jacket over it. I left my house and crossed the road. I knocked on the door ..although i still had the key..Thank fully Cashel opened the door! I gave him a hug and walked into the living room. I got a couple of hello's from the people i knew ..I could have sworn i saw Darnell smile ..but hid it with a screw. Beside him of course was the girl from school. I sat down in a corner in my own little world..But I couldn't help but notice Darnell staring at me...

I'd been at his for about 4 hours now, im not gonna lie ..im pretty glad i came..The banter was absolutely hilarious ..people getting exposed and that! Not to mention reece was here to keep me company. I lay my head on his shoulders as I felt my belly ache again ..I rubbed it to calm it down. I still felt his eyes on me, i used my phone as a distraction. Eventually i got up and went to the kitchen..my belly was getting much worse. I drank some water and bent over the sink. I heard the kitchen door open and close beind me..I stood up properly and turned to see darnell biting his lip. I felt as if my heart beat was increasing by the minute ..
