28 - Let it all out

Chapter 28

Monday Morning

I woke up with a splitting headache. I felt so beat up and I could bet that I looked an absolute mess. My body was aching and I could feel my eyes all puffy from all the crying. I looked at the time and it was 7:45. I had 45 minutes to get to school. I had a huge feeling that I would be late today. I got up and strolled towards my mirror. I was right. I looked a hot mess. I had mascara all over my face and my face was red. I grabbed my bathrooom stuff and strolled to the bathroom..

I had 20 minutes to get to school and it took me 15. Hopefully I'd make it in time. I managed to get on the bus first so I had a seat and wouldn't have to stand with sweaty people. I text Liz letting her know I was most probably going to be late..Last Night Damien called me twice but I ignored..I wasn't in the mood. I had to remind myself to call him later on. Eventually after 15 minutes I got off the bus..I figured it would still take me 20 minutes to reach school so going shop wouldn't make a difference. I walked towards the shop but soon regretted it. I could see Darnell walking into his shops and all of his friends outside. I walked past them and smiled at Cashel..I was about to open the shop door when he spoke..

"No hug no?" He said

I walked back and gave him a hug before going back into the shop. I picked out a drink, and a couple of sweets. I walked towards the back of the shop in search of some crisps. I accidently bumped into darnell along the way. He looked at me with a blank expression on his face..He wasn't screwing or aything ..He just had a blank expression. He looked away and I sighed. He walked around me and I walked back to the front of the shop to the till. I paid for my stuff and walked out of the shop. How awkward was that? I walked straight past all of the guys and crossed the road walking back to school.. *Sigh* I have a feeling today will be a very long day..

"Soo ..what's going on between you and darnell?" Liz asked as we left our second lesson ..

"I don't know. I mean, we've had heated arguments in the past but we've never stopped talking like this" I said

We walked in the direction of the canteen.

"Wow, I can't believe you guys fully had an argument" She said

"I know..Can you believe I bumped into him at the shop this morning and he didn't say a word. He just walked past me" I said

"I'm sure you two will make up later on" She said

I hope so. We walked into the canteen where everyone was. Liz sat next to Michael and I sat next to her. Luckily Darnell wasn't here ..otherwise it would have been so awkward.. I opened my crisps and started eating it. From a distance I could see Cashel and Darnell walking in..I sighed and looked away before they saw me. After a couple of seconds I felt the chair next to me getting pulled away and then I felt a heavy weight next to me..

"Don't act like you never saw me" Cashel said grinning

I had to laugh at that for some reason..

"Whats up man? Why you so quiet" He asked

"Am I?" I said

"Yeah..this morning you didn't seem you ..and today you're just bare quiet" He said

I looked up and saw Darnell looking at me. He looked away and I sighed..

"Cash I'm fine ..Honestly" I said giving him a smile

"Ahh ..that's what I like to see" He said

He gave me a hug and then took my crisps out my hand ..I looked at him with a straight face..
