39 - It all comes out

     Chapter 39

I was awake. But I couldn't see. I could hear, smell, taste but I couldn't see or feel. My head was pounding and my whole body was aching. My belly was hurting the worst. I could hear beeping and the smell of where I was was quite ..unpleasant. I could hear someone familiar talking. Two people.. I attempted to open my eyes.. And failed.. I tried another 2 times. Still nothing. I tried to scream and ended up coughing instead. I coughed hard and heard the beeping nose getting louder and faster. My eyes finally opened and Darnell and Cashel were in the room. They ran to my side along with doctors and nurses. I started feeling weaker and weaker and my eyes felt heavy..

"She's going again" is the last thing I heard...

*Darnells POV*

They left the room and Cass was asleep again. I sighed and sat down. She'd been in a coma for 2 days. Mad. I was beyond angry. I wasn't gonna look for Damien now. Not until I knew the full story anyways. I couldn't even find him. He's ghost. But when I do find him ..MY GOSH. I put my head in my hands and sighed.

"Fam. You need to go home. You need to go and sleep" Cashel said

"I can't leave her"

"You've been in and out for 2 days bruv. You need to sleep" He said

"Naa man-"

"Smirkz. I'm here. Im watching her.. Go."

"Ite, Im coming back though" I said getting up

After sleeping for about 3 hours, I woke up feeling much better. I checked my phone for any messages. I opened one from Cashel.

Cassie's awake. She's feeling

much better.

I looked at the time now. A couple minutes till 3. I got up and had a quick shower and got ready to go back to the hospital. As I came out of the shower I heard someone knocking on my door. I sighed and wrapped a towel around my waist. I ran downstairs and opened the door. Leila.

"Hey," She said

"You alright?"

"Yeah.." 

I let her in and quickly ran upstairs and threw on some clothes. I came back down and put my trainers on. She was sat on the sofa.

"Wassup?" I said

"Um ..how you been?"

"Look, Leila I have somewhere to be so can you make this quick please?"

"Well darnell we haven't spoken in over 3 days so I was worried" She said

"Yeah well i'm fine. I'm just sorting things out" I said

"What is it that is so important you can't even send your girlfriend a quick text?"

"Leila I need to get to the hospital asap, I don't have time for this"

"Hosp- ..Hospital for what? What happened?"

"Nothing, just go yeah. I'll call you tonight I promise"

"NO darnell ..please tell me.You said you'd tell me everything-"

"CASSIE WAS ATTACKED 2 DAYS AGO OK? She's laying there in her hospital bed. JUST come out of a Coma. You happy now?" I shouted

"W-what? ..But ..but you two don't even talk..?"

I looked at her like she was mad. She was gonna get me angry.
