35 - Where did we go wrong?

    Chapter 35

     3 Months Later

"I still don't understand how you got that dirty bruise under your eye Cassie"

"Liz I already told you" I sighed.. "I was making mine and your dinner so I took the seasoning out of the cupboard forgetting to close it. Then YOU called me for some foolishness so I ran to get the phone and ran back in forgetting the cupboard was open and then BAM!"

"Arrr, but it looks real bad.." She groaned

"Well duh.."

"Has Damien seen it?" She asked

"No way, he'll go mental. He'll think someone done it and will set out to capture them"

"Yeah he most probably would. He flipped when someone attacked you that night before prom"

"Ah, please don't remind me" I groaned

There was a knock on the door. I knew for a fact it was Damien ..

"It's Damien" I groaned

"Okay, well see me yeah ..im gonna go. I so don't wanna be here for when he flips" She said

"Ok well open the door for him since you're making your way out" I said hugging her.

A couple minutes later Damien walked through. I turned away from him and went into the kitchen..

"Cassie?" He called

I ignored him and started tidying up my kitchen.

"Cassie?! Why are you-" He turned me around and stopped..

"Cassie? ..I- ..Oh my days. Cassie I'm so sorry" He said

"Get OFF me!"

I carried on cleaning up the kitchen. He stood there watching me in shock..

"W-What did you tell her?" He asked

"What are you talking about?" I asked annoyed

"I know she asked you what happened" He said

"I told her I banged my eye on the edge of the cupboard."

He sighed..

"Cassie im so sorry" He said touching my waist

"NO DAMIEN! You said you'd STOP! You said you wouldn't do it anymore!"

"CASS I WAS ANGRY!"

"I DON'T CARE DAMIEN! This is the 3RD TIME THIS WEEK! I'm sick and tired of having to cover up and make excuses as to why im always bruised up!"

"CASSIE YOU'RE NOT LISTENING TO ME!" He said pushing me against the sink..

I looked at him in shock.. He took a step back. 

"Cassie I swear I didn't mean to do that-"

"Can you get out please?" I said quietly

"Cass-"

"PLEASE!"

He kissed his teeth and walked out. I waited for the door to shut before sitting down. My heart beat had increased. I had my head down on the table for about 5 minutes. I got up and finished off cleaning. I looked in my cupboards and realised that I had hardly anything in there..Which meant I'd have to go shopping. Kmt. I went upstairs and grabbed my stuff before heading out..

I walked through the aisles in asda throwing random things into my trolley. Half of which I didn't really need. I was too busy iMessaging Lizzie I didn't even realise that I had bumped into the trolley in front of me.
