Chapter 29

2 Months Later

"Next time you and your little friend wanna get smart with me, I'm sure you'll BOTH think twice." She said to me

"Why are you doing this? Threatening me..In a TOILET?" I asked her

"Because I can. And you don't seem to get the message"

"WHAT MESSAGE LEILA? You've GOT him Okay? You've WON HIM OVER! What More Do you want?"

"NO I'M NOT SATISFIED! Whenever you're around I try to get his attention BUT I CAN'T! WHY? Because he's too INTERESTED IN YOU!" She shouted

"WELL THAT'S NOT MY FAULT IS IT? IT'S NOT MY FAULT HE STILL CARES!"

She slapped me once again.

"WHY Can't he just LEAVE YOU ALONE?"

"ASK HIM THEN!" I yelled

"I'm gonna make your life hell Cassie. Mark my words."

"And if I tell Darnell?" I said

She scoffed. "Who's he gonna believe..? His girlfriend or the girl he USED to know?"

I thought about it..It's true. He probably wouldn't even believe me..

"I thought so.." She said walking out

I looked in the mirror and sighed. It had been 2 months since my Argument with Darnell. We'd spoken about 3 times since then but things just haven't been the same. I had been much quieter recently mostly because it seems as if everybody I hardly know hates me for some starnge reason. Within the 2 months Darnell had gotten back together with Leila. Since then for some reason she's been giving me grief. Threatening me. Liz knows about it ..Leila tried to threaten her once but Liz never had it. I made Liz promise that she wouldn't tell anyone. Let alone Darnell. Whether he believed me or not.

I walked out of the toilets and walked to the canteen. I went and sat down next to Liz. Unfortunately she was sitting next to Michael who was sitting with Darnell, Cashel, Leila and the rest of their batch. My cheek was still stinging. I rubbed it a little.

"What happened?" Liz whispered to me

"W-what do you mean?"

"I know she touched you"

"Just leave it Liz" I said

"No, I've had enough. You have to tell them" She said a bit louder

"Tell who what?" Cashel asked

"THAT SHE-"

"NOTHING!" I said

Well ..that was awkward ..

"Just leave it Liz!" I hissed

I looked across to see darnell looking concerned..He saw me and looking and changed his expression. I could see Leila smirking. I stood up and walked out of the canteen ..I really can't deal with this ..

"You and Smirkz need to sort out whatevers going on between you two" Cashel said sitting next to me.

I turned my attention away from the computer to him.."What?"

"You and Smirkz. You two are totally different people now. Smirkz is forever kissing up to Leila ..and you? You're like a ghost" He said

"Yeah well ..things happen and people change" I said typing on the computer

"Come to his house later. We are all gonna chill" He said
