34 - Dinner Party

   Chapter 34 - Saturday

 

"So, are you excited?" Liz asked me over the phone

"Hell no! I'm NERVOUS! I've only met his little sister and his mum. But the rest of the family? I don't know if I can do it!"

"Oh c'mon Cassie it won't be that bad I promise! Plus I'll be there" She said

"Hmm..you're right."

"Anyways babe, im gonna leave you to get ready"

"Okay bye," I said hanging up

I sat on my bed staring in the mirror. I had a simple red dress on with black heels and accesories. I was soo nervous going to meet his family. I didn't know what to expect. My iPhone began to ring. Damien. I took a deep breath before answering..

"Hello?"

"Baby" He said .."You ready?"

"Erm, yeah. Gimme 1 minute" I said

"Cool"

I hanged up and stood up. I looked at me in the mirror once more before turning off all the lights in the house and stepping out. He was stood leant against his car looking YUMMY! I felt to melt right then and there. He smiled walking towards me showing his pearly whites. I couldn't help but smile back. He hugged me and kissed my lips.

"You okay?" He asked

I nodded and he laughed..

"Baby, there's no need to be nervous. It'll be okay.. trust me. It's just a dinner" He said

I hugged him once more and got into the car ..Maybe it won't be soo bad after all ..

He pulled up in a driveway after about 25 minutes. I recognised this place from when I last came here. We got out of the car and it was not long before I spotted Lizzie. She ran up to me and hugged me.. Right now I was SO happy to see her!

"You still feeling nervous?" She asked me

"Ermm ,.not really. Not like before anyways" I said

"You ladies ready to go in?" Damien asked

"Lets go"

We walked into the house and straight into the living room. There were about 15 people in here at least. Some were stood up, some sitting on the chair or sofa and some were helping set up the dinner table. I stood in the corner with Damien and Lizzie.
