Chapter 31
My heart was beating real fast. How- How did he know? What do I say? Just when things were going well! ARGH!"Darnell ..what are you talking about?"
"DON'T Give me that rubbish Cassie I'm NOT in the mood" He said
I stood against the door rubbing my arm.. "How did you find out?" I said quietly
"Your drunk friend"
"Huh?"
"Lizzie" He said
I groaned and rubbed my face.
"Dee can we talk about this in the morning please?"
"NO! I wanna know HOW LONG you've been going out with him" He said
"About 5 months now"
"SO EVEN AFTER I TOLD YOU I DON'T LIKE HIM YOU AGREED TO GO OUT WITH HIM?!" He shouted
I knew he would go mad. I just knew it. I closed my eyes and rubbed my head.
"How could you Cass? After EVERYTHING I had said to you? I SAID To you he was NO GOOD! HE'S NO GOOD FOR YOU!!"
"NO DARNELL I'VE HAD ENOUGH!"
"ARE YOU SICK?" He shouted
"NO DARNELL JUST LISTEN TO ME FOR ONCE! YOU AND CASHEL ARE CONSTANTLY BADMOUTHING DAMIEN! HE'S NOT AS BAD AS YOU THINK HE IS! I'VE ASKED YOU SO MANY TIMES WHY YOU DON'T LIKE HIM AND ALL I GET IT STUPID ANSWERS.. 'HE'S A SNAKE, HE'S MOIST, HE'S A WASTEMAN' ..DARNELL THAT'S NOT A GOOD ENOUGH ANSWER!" I said crying
He grabbed me and threw me against the wall. I groaned in pain and more tears fell.
"I would have thought that you would just trust me and listen to what I say."
"Yeah well sometimes you're not always right" I said
"What's that supposed to mean"
I tried to get out of his tight grip but he just held on harder..
"He doesn't judge me for doing certain things. He ALWAYS listens to what I have to say without jumping to conclusions. He doesn't JUDGE others or holds grudges!" I said
"Are you trying to compare that pussyhole to me?"
