22 - She's a keeper

Chapter 22 - Saturday

"That will be £389 altogether please,"

 I took the cash from the card and gave him the correct change. I packed his stuff in a bag and gave it to him

"Thank you"

"No problem sir, have a good day"

I sighed and sat back down in the chair. The shop was empty today and Jason was not in yet. Lizzie was on break so it was just me chareece, sandrine and charlotte. I watched people walking in and out of the shop and it annoyed me that people weren't buying anything. It was 1 o'clock in the afternoon and i was meeting damien at 3. Lizzie walked in the shop grinning.

"And why are you grinning so hard young lady?"

"Beeecaaauseee i've just come back from going to see michael .." She said

"Umm okaay .."

"Annnnnnnnnnnnnnd.." She added

"And what?"

"He wants me to go and meet his mum!" She screamed and jumped up and down

"Umm ..that's great i guess(?)" I said. She tutted

"Caassieee! If a guy invites you over to meet his family it means he's really into you .." She said

"Is it?" 

"Yes! Definately" She said

She walked off into the back and i sat down again..Siiggghhh this is gonna be a looooong day!

"BOO!" A voice behind me said. I turned around and came face to face with Damien..

"DAMIEN!" I hugged him

"You ready to go?"

"Yeaah gimme one sec"

I went to the back and quickly got changed. I grabbed my bag and everything i needed.

"Byee Jason" I said

"See you later b"

I walked to the front and met with Damien.

"Where are we going?" I asked

"I need to run to my mum's yard real quick"

"Oh ..."

I jumped in his car and we drove off...

 We parked up outside his mums house. He stopped and looked at me.

"What's wrong?" I asked him

"I want you to meet my mum ...and my little sister" He said

"W-WHAT?! No Damien why didn't you tell me?!" 

"I thought you'd say no! Whereas now you can't say no"

"Buut im not even dressed properly!"

"You look fine man. Just come"

We got out the car and i fixed myself up as we walked into his block. I felt soo nervous, i know i wasn't his girlfriend or whatever but still, what if she didn't like me? He led the way and i walked slower behind him. He sensed i was nervous and squeezed my hand. We got to a door and he opened it..

"Mum?" He called

"In here sweetheart!"

We walked to the kitchen and he greeted her. I smiled because i could tell that they were very close. She turned around fully and noticed me standing there.
