Cassie

I threw on my leggings, blazers and my checkered shirt. I looked out of the window and could see Darnell laying on his bed on the phone. I opened my window.

"OI" I yelled ..

He looked at me and nodded gesturing for me to come. I took my phone and put it in my bra and made my way down the stairs.

*BAM!*

..I looked towards the door. Ohhh noo ..not now. In walked a drunken kev as always. I hadn't seen him in about 4 days.

"An Where Ya Tink Ya Goin?" He asked with his strong jamaican accent.

"I ..Im going to a friends. I'll be back soon" I said

"What? You going to a mans house ? Yuh Likkle Sket" He spat

I ignored him and walked past him, but i felt his strong hands grips me up. Next thing i felt was a strong connection to my face.

"About you waan walk away from meh! Gwaan up to yuuh room likkle gyal"

I silently prayed while walking up the stairs. I made sure i slammed my door when i got to my room. Did he actually think i was staying here ? I opened the window and jumped out making sure he couldn't see me. When the coast was clear I ran to Darnells' house. I opened it with the spare key he had given me. I walked up to his room and he was still sat on the bed talking.

"Ayee, imaah bell you later yeh" he said

"......"

"Itee bless fam"

He hung up, got up and walked straight passed me and out of the room. I rolled my eyes before answering lizzie's ping

He came back in the room and sat at his computer desk.

"Soo ..what you called me over here and you ain't gonna speak ?" I started

"I don't like the way you're moving uno ..for some reason you think that cause mandem wanna move to you ..you wanna act bad"

"NO Darnell ..no darnell .."

"Come here" He said

I straddled him as we hugged. Again, nothing sexual ..it was just something that we did.

"I'm just tryna look out for you man, caah i know once mandem get onto you they're just gonna hurt you!"

"Yeaah but i can look after myself Darnell" He nodded

"Have you taken your pills" he asked ..

I pulled a straight face and got off of him. I hated taking my pills. I don't even know what kind of pills they were tbh ..or what they were supposed to help me with.

"Why do you always bring that up ?" I asked annoyed

"Because i love you and im looking out for you" He replied
