When Alistair told me that he's going back, bumalik nga siya. Mommy and Papa are not here. Only the three of us, Shaniah and Janice. Kryz is with Papa, training her. Gagawin yata siyang secretary ni Alistair, katulad na din ng nasabi ni Mr. Lee.

"Ate, hindi mo talaga papapasukin si kuya Alistair?" Janice asked as she peeked on the window.

Pagdating nila ni Shaniah galing sa school, hindi na sila lumabas ng kwarto ko.

"Aalis din 'yan si Alistair mamaya."

"Ate, umuulan na." Sumbong ni Shaniah.

"Bakit hindi pa to umaalis? Hindi man lang pumasok ng kotse!" Frustrated kong sabi.

"Ate, labasin mo. Atleast tell him to come inside, kawawa naman eh. He's soaking wet." Janice frowned sadly.

"Towel, ate oh." Shaniah handed me a towel when I stood up.

I sighed before opening the big gate. Ngayon lang 'to, Alistair. Alam mo nang hindi kita matitiis eh. Who could? He's shaking!

"Elle, are you taking the ring now?" His face brightly smiled even if I can see him shaking from the cold.

"Take this towel and leave."

"I think I'm going to stay here outside for a while. Kahit di na sa loob, maramdaman ko lang na nandiyan ka sa paligid, okay na ako. Pasok ka na, Elle. Giginawin ka, malamig dito oh." He told me even if it's him that's shaking.

"Alistair." I cried in his arms. I don't care if he's soaking wet.

"Wag ka na umiyak. Okay lang ako. I just wanted to see you, kahit ayaw mo na ako makita. Umakyat ka na tapos magpalit ka. I'll just stay here outside, sandali nalang." Even if he's freezing cold, he's still thinking about me.

"Alistair, last na 'to. Promise me, huli na 'to. After this, go ahead and date those girl your Ah Ma wants you to."

"Ayoko sila kapag hindi ikaw." He answered, almost pleading.

"Alistair, god knows how much I love you. Pero hindi kaya ng konsensiya ko na masaya tayo, habang pinapaalala ng mukha ko sa pamilya niyo 'yung gulong ginawa ni Papa."

"At least you loved me."

"Love," I corrected him. "I won't stop loving you. Akala ko perfect na tayo e. Pero sa susunod na buhay, let's meet again where I won't remind your family of what Papa is like anymore. Nothing will stop us and I promise to always hold your hand. I might let go of you physically, pero asahan mo that my heart will never let go of yours."

"Keep thing ring, Elle. Sa'yo to. Wala din naman akong bibigyan niyan. It will only be you. Wala nang iba. Thank you for giving me a chance to love you. That's so far, the best five years of my life." He said and inserted the ring to my finger.

"Mahal na mahal na kita." I hugged him tight.

"Ako din. Mahal na mahal na mahal kita. Sobra. See you again." He smiled before wiping his hair and went inside his car.

I watched as his car disappear from my vision. Unti-unti itong lumiit at tuluyang nawala sa paningin ko.

We walked out of each other's lives for the better. We'll thank each other for doing this in the future.

"At least he gets the things he deserve." I sighed before going inside the house.

"Ate, kanina pa po tumatawag sa'yo si tita Tae Hee." Abot ni Janice ng phone ko.

"Hello, mi?"

"We have to bring your father overseas. He's not doing very well. Nagising na siya but he can't even remember us."
