Chapter 28

My friends from Hanyang are coming, Eliz and Dony. They are both the same age as me.

"Happy meal, pa-deliver ka, Alistair." I told him since Eliz and Dony both have kids.

After an hour, dumating na din sila with their kids. They live in the same street here in Gangnam so it's only walking distance.

"Elle! Na-miss kita, girl!" Eliz shouted and hugged me.

"Won't your husband get jealous if I hug you?" Dony jokingly asked before hugging me. "Sabihin mo nalang may pamilya na ako ha. And based on my knowledge, tell him to spare my life."

"Baliw! He's not my husband."

"Yet?"

"Yet." I clarified.

"You might want to introduce your boyfriend? Akala ko, Cha Eun Woo is in your house! I almost asked him to sing love so fine." Eliz laughed.

"Kilala niyo naman siya." I said but still called him to introduce him formally.

"Hi, I'm Eliz Castañer. Son A Yeong in here." She introduced herself. She's the social butterfly.

"I'm Dony Ramos. But I'm really Im Dae Hyun. Whatever you like. Spare me okay?"

"No," Alistair laughed. "Elle told me that you already know who I am but still, for the sake of formality, I'm Alistair Lee. Lee Jin Young, kung saan kayo comfortable."

"Might want to introduce your kids?" I asked them.

"Joon, go introduce yourself." Eliz told her son.

"Hi, tita Elle and tito Alistair. Mommy already introduced you to me. I'm Min Joon and I'm 5."

Min Joon is a really smart kid. He already knows 3 languages despite of his age.

Meanwhile, Dony's daughter, Seo Ah, felt a little shy so she just waved her hand.

"I told you not to wear something white, Alistair."

"Isn't this what you're supposed to wear in Hanguk?" He asked.

"Not when you're clumsy. Go and change into something else."

"Ikaw pumili."

"Wait lang ha, I'll just help Alistair with his thing. Be back in a minute." Paalam ko bago sumunod kay Alistair sa kwarto.

"Elle, I'm meeting some friends downtown."

"Oh? Go."

"Hindi mo ako pagbabawalan? There are alcohols involved there. I might you know- get drunk."

"Why would I? Just drive safely. Call me if you need a ride home."

"Will do." He said and hugged me before leaving.

Pag-alis ni Alistair, dumating na 'yung order naming black bean noodles at sweet and sour pork. It's what we usually eat during our breaks. It tastes way different when you're eating it in the open space quadrangle.

"Elle, I would never forget about your tear soaked noodles, like, never." Eliz laughed.

"Miss Girl is crying over Alistair that's by her side now."

"Why did you date Alistair, Elle?" They asked.

"Cause I wanted to date someone like my late grandfather. Si Lolo kasi, he puts me first before others, before himself. He's selfless, he doesn't mind being in pain, as long as things go my way."

"Isn't Alistair known as the stern, serious and selfish type?" Takang tanong ni Dony.

"Maybe for others, gan'on una nilang tingin kay Alistair. But he's way different. He waited a lifetime for me, and that is the most selfless, caring and loving thing I experienced."
