"Raelle, here are the papers. You know the drill. The meeting later. I'll formally introduce you to the board. Right after the meeting at lunch, pumunta ka sa mga Savesta. Confirm the merging. Madami kang dapat gawin since isang linggong walang nag-manage dito sa office because of wedding festivities." Mahabang litanya ni Papa.

"Yes, Dad. I can manage. Hindi na po dapat kayo pumunta, e. I can do this naman na po. You may go home after introducing me, Pa."

"Are you sure? This is just your first day, kaya mo na?"

"I worked with Alistair, Papa. I know what to do."

Pagdating ng lunch, pinakalala na agad ako ni Papa sa board. It's really awkward standing in front of many people, nasanay kasi akong lagi lang nasa likod ni Alistair.

"This is my daughter, Raelle Monverde. She will now be in-charge of the company, and will take care of the company now. You're in good hands."

"Good afternoon po." Sabi ko habang naka-yuko. Nahiya lalo ako nang tumingin silang lahat saakin.

"You used to be Alistair Lee's secretary, right?" An executive asked.

"Yes."

"We're all in good hands. We saw how you handled Mr. Lee, no one can handle that man." He smiled.

"Thank you sir." I bowed.

"Tito Felix would be enough. Felix Savesta."

"Oh, I assume you're the CEO of Savesta group of companies, sir?"

"Yes, but it's my son you're meeting later. Do you have a boyfriend? My son is very single."

"I ha- no, sir. Wala po." I answered. Ayaw ko munang idamay si Alistair dito.

I want the both of us to have a peaceful life in our office, and I think, it's best if I won't mention him here.

"You should date my son." He laughed and pointed at me.

After the meeting, I drove to their office. Nandito ang office nila sa Makati pero bakit nasa Quezon City si tito Felix? I don't know about Papa's colleagues so I'm not sure what they are.

"May I talk to Mr. Ethan Savesta? I'm from the Raelle Monverde. I believe that I made an appointment." I asked the front desk.

"Just in time, Ms. Monverde. Mr. Savesta is in his office waiting for you."

Pag-akyat ng elevator, nag-text si Alistair, informing me that he's going in Makati to meet some business colleagues. Since I'm busy, we agreed to meet later at 4 PM in BGC.

"Mr. Savesta." I greeted him and formally shook his hand.

"Good afternoon, Miss Monverde. I'm assuming that you already met my Dad."

"We had a meeting earlier, he kind of introduced you."

"He told us to date, didn't he?"

"He did." I laughed gently.

"Oh well," he laughed. "Please take a seat."

He talked about business matters. May ibang terms pa siyang sinasabi na hindi ko maintindihan pero he's patient enough to explain those things. Naalala ko si Alistair sa kanya noong una akong naka-sama sa meeting. I didn't even know what secretaries do.

"Thank you, Miss Monverde. Merging with the Monverdes are one of the company's plan for so long."

"It's actually my Dad, I just went here for clarifications, you know."
