after getting out of the school, we all got into vinnie's car to get away from there as fast as possible.

"and now? where are we going?" i said taking off my backpack and putting it somewhere next to my feet.

"swear to god, if we skipped school to do nothing, i'll kill both of you." charli said. i turned towards her and we both laughed. she was right, we had to plan something to do, or it would have been boring.

"calm down miss renegade, anything will be better than staying in class." mattia said turning around looking at charli; he was sitting in the front seat, while me and charli were in the backseat.

charli rolled her eyes and replayed him back: "why don't you go back licking toilets, mattia?" she smirked, causing mattia to do the same.

"you're done? i'm trying to think about something." vinnie interrupted that funny moment, as always.

charli rolled her eyes and mattia turned back looking at he road. "i promise that vinnie's not always like that." charli whispered into my ear giggling.

after a long minute of silence, vinnie stated: "why don't we go to the skatepark?" that was his brilliant idea? i didn't even know how to hold a skate, let alone skating.

"other options? maybe better than this one?" i said, hoping that someone had a better idea.

vinnie looked at me through the rearview mirror clearly annoyed by what i said. i looked at him back smirking to tease him.

"trust me, you wanna go to the skatepark, once you learn how to do some tricks, it's gonna be fun." mattia said agreeing with vinnie.

"fine, but i remind both of you that we don't know how to skate, so don't make fun of us." charli said and they both nodded their heads, then they started laughing. i was pretty sure it was gonna be a long afternoon.

we arrived at the skatepark and we got out of the car. vinnie opened the trunk and took 2 skateboards, then looked at me smirking.

"you always have them with you? like, anytime?" i asked. he nodded and said: "yeah, because anytime i can, i come here and skate by myself."

"c'mon bro, let's do some tricks, they are gonna fall for us." mattia said chuckling. i looked at charli and she was lightly blushing, so i giggled and whispered in her ear: "looks like someone has a crush on mattia."

she immediately looked at me and denied saying: "what? not even a little. we're friends."

i looked at her trying to make her say what i wanted to hear, in fact she continued: "okay, maybe i think he's cute, but i don't like him like that. also he recently broke up with his girlfriend, so he doesn't want a relationship now."

i was surprised when charli said so, mattia looked like he handled the situation pretty well, or maybe he didn't want to show how he really felt.

"no need to, they already are." i heard vinnie's voice and i looked at him. he was smirking causing me to look away.

me and charli were sitting on a little bench and were watching mattia and vinnie doing some tricks, or at least they were trying, because the most of the time they were falling.

"jeez why does it seem difficult today? i swear i tried this couple days ago with ryland and it was perfect." vinnie said almost freaking out. he really seemed he cared about skating, it wasn't a simple hobby.

"yeah i might have an idea about why you can't even skate properly for a straight minute." mattia said chuckling, but as soon as he saw vinnie was clenching his jaw he started running.

"i swear, if you say more shit i'll beat your ass up." vinnie started running to trying to reach mattia. me and charli started laughing. it was a funny scene to watch to.

suddenly charli stood up and unlocked her phone. i looked at her confused and said: "what are you doing?"

she didn't say anything, but she put her phone standing on the bench and walked back a little: "i'm making a tiktok, wanna make one with me?"

i shook my head: "nah not really my thing, i love watching them, but i never tried to make one."

"just try at least, i won't post it if you don't like it, i promise." she said to convince me. "at least we do something, or do you wanna get bored watching them doing the same things?"

she was right, i was getting a little bored: "fine, but you're not gonna post it." she nodded smiling and then she showed me which tiktok we were about to make.

it was a pretty easy one, so it took less than 5 minutes. not gonna lie, it turned out pretty decent and if i wasn't insecure about myself i would have let charli post it.

"oh my god, it's amazing! pleas let me post it!" charli said literally begging me. i rolled my eyes and gave her the 'consent' to post it: "just don't tell me if someone's gonna comment something hateful, i prefer not to know."

"fine, but i actually think it's a cool tiktok and i don't care if someone's gonna hate." she said while she was still typing on her phone. "you shouldn't care too."

i got closer to her so see what she was typing and i could see: ' @annamartini should she start posting on tiktok? yes or yes? 🥰🤪🤩' i chuckled.

"no i'm serious." charli looked at me. "if they seem to like you, you're gonna start posting, got it?"

i was about to say something, but she continued talking: "i don't accept a no. c'mon you're pretty good at it and i'm sure you're gonna have fun"

"yo you convinced her?" suddenly mattia said behind our backs. i was starting to think that he enjoyed scaring people by surprising them.

"convinced her to do what?" vinnie stopped skating. "aren't you thinking about making tiktoks, are you?" now he was looking at me with a serious face.

"yeah she's thinking about it." charli said quickly before i could even think about something to say.

vinnie shook his head and said: "you're out of your mind." and then kept skating. i didn't understand the reason why he reacted like this, but he had no right to.

he really pissed me off with his bipolar behaviour, so the next thing to do was start posting on my tiktok account. i didn't care about what was going on in his mind, i just knew i wanted to have fun while i was there.
