"it's not that hard, it may seem, but you just need to practise." justin said to me because once again i didn't manage to do a trick.

"maybe because it would be better to start with an easier thing?" i said getting off the skateboard.

justin was a nice guy, but he insisted for me to start with a trick, knowing damn well i had never skated before.

"fine, i'll take care of that now." ryland said getting closer to me. "put your left foot on the skateboard and push yourself with the right foot."

thank god there was ryland. even though i would have preferred vinnie as teacher. he seemed the one that was better at skating, but he said he was hungry, so he went to get something to eat for all of us as well.

okay this didn't seem like a bad thing. for sure it wasn't as difficult as doing a trick. i put my left foot on the skateboard and i positioned the other one as ryland said ready to push myself.

i was kinda nervous to do that, but eventually i pushed myself and i felt all the adrenaline running in my body.

i didn't go much far and when i stopped i was shocked since i managed to do that without falling.

i got off the skateboard with a big smile, proud of myself for what i just did.

i just wished vinnie was there to see how good i was. i guessed he would have been jealous now because i was about to become a pro at skating, even better than him.

ryland and justin started clapping their hands just not to ruin my excitement. "see? told you starting with this would have been better."

"if you're gonna learn something more today, you're gonna be one of the skater boys soon." ryland said joking.

i chuckled because i never thought of me as a skater girl or something, but i was pretty sure it would have been funny.

i put one of my feet on the skateboard and made a pose, trying to look like justin or ryland: "how do i look like?"

they started laughing and if i could have seen myself i would have done the same. "nah you need to put both your feet on the skateboard and do the middle finger." ryland said joking.

i laughed and i wanted to do what he said, but as soon as i put the other foot on it, i started losing the balance and i once again i was ready to fall on the ground and get hurt.

i was pretty sure that at the end of the day i would have been full of bruises on my body, specially on legs and arms.

suddenly i felt someone grabbing me by putting their hand on my back and on my waist. i slightly turned my head and i saw vinnie holding me.

"are you okay?" vinnie kindly asked me helping me to stand up. after the little talk we had the other day, things seemed to be as good as the first day i got here.

"uh, yeah, thank you." i didn't know why but i was a little embarrassed now. vinnie and i were so close to each other and his hands on my body weren't making things easier.

suddenly we heard ryland and justin coughing trying to get our attention since there was a little moment of silence.

"i leave you guys alone for 10 minutes and i almost find anna on the ground." vinnie said after helping me.

"vinnie it's fine, it's not their fault." i chuckled trying not to start a discussion. "now let us see what you got."

we sat on the little bench and started eating what vinnie bought. it was something from starbucks and i simply got a iced coffee, while the boys went for some drinks and grilled cheese sandwiches.

if only i was as much as lucky as them and not gain weight even for the littlest thing, i would have taken the same.

"okay i'm done, anyone wanna come skating with me?" vinnie said getting up from the bench. damn it hadn't even been 10 minutes, he really used to eat fast.

"me, i'm coming." justin said while he was still eating his sandwich. in fact, he was still chewing it.

"yeah bro, but swallow it first and then you speak. it's gross." vinnie said disgusted making a funny face.

ryland was with me still trying to finish his sandwich, while vinnie and justin took their skateboards and hopped on them.

"i'm even better than them, it's just that i prefer eating now and enjoy this amazing sandwich." ryland said ironically. "if i was with them, they would be so embarrassed."

i chuckled. ryland was such a funny guy and i felt sorry for laughing. i mean, he was pretty good at skating, but vinnie and justin were much better.

they were really good at skating, their movements were smooth and pretty attractive to watch. i wish i was that good. i took my phone and decided to film them.

they were so focused on their things and i thought they didn't notice me, but i was wrong, because after doing an amazing trick, vinnie passed in front of me making a funny face.

i stopped recording and it turned out pretty good. it would have been a shame if it would have stayed in my camera roll. so i posted it on my instagram story.

i wrote something ironically like '@vinniehacker and @justinlander can't do shit. we all know that @rylandstorms and i are better 🙄'

we spent a little more time at the skatepark and then we decided to go home. i was actually pretty tired and all i wanted to do was relaxing on my bed.

then all of a sudden, the thought of daniele came up in my mind. we didn't text or call each other since the party night when he texted me about giulia.

it kinda hurt, but he had to realise that he couldn't say something like that thinking i would have been fine with it. he damn knew what we've been going through and now he just seemed not to care.

but i didn't want to feel that distant with him, so i decided to text him and see how things are going.
