I woke up, feeling the familliar sore between my legs. It made me smile.
What happened last night wasn't a dream . . .
But then, my smile vanished when I found no one beside me. I frowned at that, where is he? Not knowing what to do, I just stood up and headed straight to the bathroom to take a bath.
When I was done, I wore my uniform and immediately left the room.
I'll just look for him.
"There you are! We've been waiting for you! You need to here this . . ." Jean and the others were running towards me.
I smiled at them and asked, "What's the matter?"
Their looks were uneasy but answered anyways.
"Everyone's at the Queen's place now, Y/N. And there's . . . uhm, you know . . . I think they announced something wrong." Jean said, scratching the back of his neck.
I was confused because I couldn't understand what he was talkin' about.
"Just come with us, Y/N. Historia wants to talk to you privately." He said that made me nod.
I walked with them, they were silent, none of us spoke a nerve and just kept walking towards Historia's place.
When we arrived, they excuse themselves and told me to cheer up and take a deep breath before entering.
Why do I feel like something's wrong?
"Good morning, Y/N." I heard Historia's voice as soon as I entered the place.
I smiled at her, hugged her and froze when I felt something.
A . . . bump?
A baby bump?
With my wide eyes, I looked at her in surprise.
"Y-You're—!" I was happy but then at the same time, for unknown reason, I wished she wasn't and I don't even know why.
She cut me off with a nod a small smile on her face as a tear escaped her eyes.
I panicked when I saw a tear so I immediately wiped it, she isn't supposed to be stressed! She should be happy everytime.
"Hey! Don't cry! It's not good for your baby." I softly said as I hugged her.
Historia's been a great friend of mine, she was always there to cheer me up when I lost my bestfriends, Reiner, Bertoldt and Annie. Even though she was hurt about Ymir's news, she was still there for me. And I love her for that.
"I love you so much, Y/N. You've always been a good friend . . . please don't hate me." She cried again and I was confused, but I didn't wanna make her feel worse so I just hugged her, and told her I don't even hate her.
Because I love her, so why the hell would I hate her?
Minutes had passed and she still didn't stop crying so I couldn't help but to ask her.
"What's wrong, Historia? Why are you crying?" I asked, worry laced through my voice.
When I asked that, she looked at me in the eyes, her mouth opened as if she was about to tell me something I am not ready of.
"Y/N, I'm sorry, I . . ." She couldn't even finish her words as she cried again.
Even though I'm dying to know the reason why she's like this, I don't want her to feel stressed.
"Shh. Whatever it is, I forgive you, Historia. I can never get mad at you and I will never hate you, so please, calm down." I softly assured her but she cried louder after hearing it.
After a while she looked up at me with red, puffy eyes as she pouted her lips. "You promise you won't hate me, Y/N?" She asked, desperate for an answer.
Even though I wasn't sure, I just nodded.
It made her smile as she hugged me tightly.
"I can't afford to lose you too, Y/N. You're the only person I have left now." She mumbled.
I just chuckled, "You have me and our whole squad. And don't worry 'cause starting from now on, I'll be taking care of you and this life in your stomach." I assured her.
After that, tears escaped her eyes again but she nodded anyways.
Historia was acting weird today but I guess it's just because she's pregnant and all.
Even though confusion was getting the best of me, I chose to stay silent and smile my worries away.
