Mikasa

She took care of Eren for me.

She was with me when I asked for her presence. She never made or did something that would hurt us. She was so caring and loving.

Now, she was going to be buried six feet under the ground.

I blinked as tears fell from my eyes, from here, I could see Eren's pained expression. I could see the regret, longing, sadness and hurt in his eyes. He looked like he didn't expect this too.

I guess no one really did.

My gaze went to the Captain, Levi Ackerman.

I knew something was going on with them years ago. Captain Levi's expression was dull. He still haven't talked to any one.

When the Commander, Erwin Smith, died, he was like this but this time, it was so much worse.

Did he really love Y/N? Romantically? Or just as a family?

I didn't see him cry. But that time, that night when Y/N took her life, I did saw him cry. I did saw the tears that fell from his eyes. For the first time, I did.

Then, I looked at Historia.

She was crying. She looked so guilty.

I somehow felt bad. Historia was still Y/N's friend after all. Nothing can change that. Then, my gaze landed on the her grave. Her smiling face flashed in my mind.

I remember her boldness years ago, when we still both liked Eren. She said it right to my face. I chuckled at the bittersweet memory.

She wasn't the kindest, especially to those who doesn't like her.

But she was the most caring of all. She taught me many things.

We were not that close, she was much closer with Annie, Reiner, and Bertholdt but it still hurt so much. There was one time, she made a promise in front of me that she won't die without talking to Annie again.

Now I wonder what I Annie might feel when she gets out of that crystal.

I wonder how Reiner may react, we already told him about it. He has every right to know. After all, those three warriors were Y/N's bestftriends back then. When life still didn't suck that much.

"Hange–san said that Reiner will be arriving later. He pledged not to cause any harm and promised that he's just here to grieve for his bestfriend's death." It was Armin.

He was behind me.

I didn't say a word and just kept staring at nowhere.

True to his words, Reiner did arrive a couple of hours later. He looked lost, pained, anxious and...broke.

His mouth was ajar as if he was seeing something so unbelievable in front of him, and in front of him was Y/N's grave.

I knew he was feeling ridiculous too.

That the strongest of us, emotionally and mentally, killed herself.
