Thirty-Fourth Chapter : Questions

Eren was locked up. He just told everybody that he could escape any time he wants to and that locking him up was so useless.

"You sure of this, Y/N?"

I nodded. It was Jean who asked that.

I decided to visit Eren today. I knew I told myself that I won't meddle with his life anymore or that I will just let him to be happy with Historia but...I still can't when there's so many questions inside my head.

I have to make him answer it.

After that, I'll surely back off. I'll stay away.

I turned right, it was dim. The place sent shivers down my spine. Just as I was about to take another step forth, a voice stopped me.

"How have you been, Eren? I missed you," Longing was evident on her tone of speaking.

Historia.

Should I just go back and forget about the questions I was dying to ask him, or should I just disregard the fact that I'll be ruining their sweet moment if ever I decide to take another step forward and go near them?

I rolled my eyes.

I came here because this will be the last. I came here to make everything clear.

I came here to make everything clear.

After that, I won't ever mess with his life anymore. Ever.

With a sigh, I walked forth, not caring about the crying blondie bitch who ruined everything. Yes, I still care for her but who said I didn't have a limit? When I was crying over my broken relationship, she even had the guts to get herself pregnant by the guy she knew I loved more than my life.

Go to hell, Historia.

I stopped when I was just a few inches from her back, she was still miserably crying.

Whatever.

She might've heard me when I cleared my throat 'cause she immediately flinched and turned around, her two blue orbs meeting mine.

"Y-Y/N..."

I winked at her. "The one and only."

Guilt, just like the last time, made it's way to her eyes. She cried again as if she was expecting Eren or me to comfort her. Nah, over my dead body.

"I'll...I'll leave you two alone," She said.

She gave me one last look and after she left, I felt the guilt too.

That look...

She didn't look like she hated me. Her apologizing eyes looked scincere. She looked like she regret everything. She looked at me like she wanted our friendship to be back. She looked lonely.

Was she?

I didn't know what to believe anymore.

"What brings you here?"

Ah, that voice I've always loved.

"Questions," I shortly replied, not meeting his gaze.

He scoffed. "You think I'll answer? Think again." His tone was rude. Rude enough that it sent shivers down my spine. But I knew better. I smirked.
