Chapter Nine: The Colors

Phoenix slept till noon the next day. Her bed has never felt more comfortable in her life. Phoenix woke up to the sunshine in her room and She whipped the sleep out of her eyes and heard Amos and Cedric downstairs talking and probably discussing about quidditch.

"Phoenix you have a package!!" Cedric shouted Phoenix groaned and got out of bed and went downstairs to see what it was. Cedric was holding the box when she realized it must've been Fred's Christmas gift.

"Who's it from?" Her dad asked as she scanned the royal blue wrapping paper and glittery bow

"Doesn't say but I think it might be Ron's" Phoenix said before heading upstairs to open it privately. Phoenix placed the box on her bed and wrapped herself up in her blanket. She gently unwrapped the bow and opened the box and looked inside. Fred gave her a royal blue flannel button up shirt with Ravenclaws crest on the back Phoenix smiled as she put the flannel shirt on and looked in the mirror and smiled at her new flannel shirt and it was even more special that Fred remembered Phoenix's favourite colour. She looked into the box once more and seen a little charm bracelet with a Phoenix charm on it. It was absolutely beautiful and the orange shined beautifully in the light.

"I see Ron went all out" her dad said as Phoenix jumped out of fear. Her dad chuckled and sat Ron's actual present on my bed. Phoenix giggled nervously and looked at her dad.

"Nice shirt dear" Amos said smiling

"Fred actually bought me this and a charm bracelet" Phoenix said as she showed him. Amos smiled at the bracelet

"So what has been going on with you two?" Amos asked she got her dad to shut the door and sat down with Phoenix on her bed.

"Fred confessed he had feelings for me but I caught him kissing his ex one day" Phoenix said

"Did he mean it?" Dad asked

"I ignored him for three weeks and then Luna lovegood encouraged me to send him his present and that made him think I forgave him Soo we ended up arguing and then he said how much he didn't mean it and he wants to do everything to make it up to me" Phoenix explained

"Sounds to me he cares" Amos said

"I don't know dad he's lucky I'm giving him another chance" Phoenix said Amos chuckled and hugged her

"Also please don't tell Cedric right now because I'm making Fred apologize for breaking his arm" Phoenix said

"I swear I won't say a word" Amos said smiling

"Dad!" Cedric shouted running into my room we both looked at him and he looked like he was about to hurt someone.

"Fred Weasley is at the door" Cedric groaned Amos looked confused but left with Cedric to see what Fred wanted. Phoenix ran over to her window and saw Fred and Cedric talking. Phoenix saw Cedric's face change and saw Fred handing him a gift. Cedric told Fred to wait a minute and she went downstairs to see what's going on. Phoenix opened the door and saw Fred sitting on the porch

"What are you doing here carrots?" Phoenix asked Fred turned and smiled when he saw Phoenix wearing the shirt he bought her

"Well diggory like you said how I needed to apologize to you're brother and that's why I'm here" Fred said Phoenix couldn't help but smile. She sat down next to Fred and took a breath.

"How did you even get here you're parents aren't home" Phoenix chuckled Fred laughed and pulled out this old ragged shoe

"George made me a port key so I could come here and apologize and preferably see you" Fred chuckled Phoenix laughed and shoved him away a bit.
