Phoenix (Fred Weasley love story)

Chapter Seventy-Nine: One without the other

the morning sun creeped through Fred's room Phoenix tossed and turned all night at the thought he didn't come with her, George and Lee were already up getting ready to start they're work day but they wanted to let Phoenix sleep since they knew it must've been months since she last got any good sleep. Phoenix woke up to the smell of bacon and eggs being made and small whispers coming from behind the door she turned over to see the empty spot on the bed she left incase this was all just a bad dream and she'd wake up to see her lover fast asleep beside her but this, this was the reality. Phoenix forced herself up and she put on one of Fred's quidditch sweaters in his top drawer she even found her old Ravenclaw scarf she once gave him when they first started dating. When Phoenix walked out of the room she saw Lee and George laughing and smiling at one another as they ate and her heart melted seeing the way Lee looked at George those two were in love and in a way Phoenix was thankful Lee was there to help George get through these dark times with Fred being gone. Phoenix grabbed a plate and sat down with the two and began eating in silence lee looked at George who shook his head and Phoenix could sense something was wrong

"spill" Phoenix muttered as she scarfed down some eggs George sighed and dropped his fork

"Sirius is asking for you mum figured you'd stay the night but Sirius is dying to see you" George said Phoenix rolled her eyes, truth was Phoenix was still very upset with Sirius from him lying to her about her fate to agreeing with Fred and Dumbledore to let Fred go undercover and if he found out about what Voldemort unlocked within Phoenix she would never see daylight again and be stuck inside Grimmuald  what would seem like the rest of her life. Phoenix felt sick to her stomach after George encouraged her to go talk to her uncle Phoenix found herself running to the bathroom and throwing up, but she knew it wasn't nerves it was the little creation that's growing inside her for a second she forgot that Phoenix was now carrying Fred's child but the last twenty four hours have been very crazy for Phoenix. She heard a knock at the door and George was nice enough to place a glass of water on the bathroom counter.

"Everything alright?" George asked Phoenix flushed down the vomit and laid up against the bath tub and looked a George as he kneeled down to phoenix as she caught her breath and nodded slowly

"Yeah just ate to much to fast" Phoenix said George nodded and sat completely down on the floor with Phoenix and noticed her ankles were a bit swollen he wondered to him self if Phoenix was actually was telling the truth but then Phoenix felt another wave of sickness wash over her and found herself throwing up once more. Phoenix wanted this morning sickness to end since  she hated being sick but she knew it wasn't her fault, after she finished George helped Phoenix up and she washed her hands and splashed water in her face to make her feel better. When she looked into the mirror and saw George's face

"I hope your face freezes like that" Phoenix muttered and turned back to face her best friend, George sighed and shook his head

"look your just as stubborn as Freddie but is there anything else you haven't told me?" George asked Phoenix shook her head brushing off the fact that just yesterday she found out she was pregnant she feared if she told her family they'd keep her from stopping Voldemort but in Phoenix's eyes she's now doing this so her child could live in a better world even if it means if her baby had to live in a world without a mother Phoenix was willing to take that chance.

"Georgie there isn't anything else to say okay?" Phoenix said George sighed and nodded slowly before the two walked out of the bathroom and Phoenix went to go get ready to go see Sirius even though she was procrastinating about going to see him, Phoenix knew it was the right thing to do since she hasn't seen her uncle in almost five months now. Lee and George went downstairs to open up the shop for the day and with a CRACK! Phoenix apperated out of the Flat and appeared in front of twelve Grimmuald she looked up at the house and took a breath before walking up the steps and opened the door. Phoenix quietly stepped in and saw the place hasn't changed a bit if anything it seemed more gloomy then before she left, Phoenix walked further in and saw Tonks sitting in the smoking room talking to Remus, Phoenix smiled seeing Remus after what felt like a long time, Phoenix cleared her throat and Tonks looked up and gasped as they saw Phoenix smiling in the door way Remus shot up fast and rushed over pulling Phoenix into his arm and hugged her tightly and Tonks walked over and hugged her also
