You had to promise to never tell Damián

"Bro!" Someone called Jason in the hospital and he immediately recognise the voice even when the nick name was new.

Jason looked were the voice was coming and he felt the need to hit someone face against a wall real hard, several times.

Vina was sitting on a hospital bed looking very small and frágil with a split lip and a bandage around her head.

Jason was gonna kill the fucking bastard that put her there and fucking enjoy it.

But right now Vina need him so he had a role to play.

"Hey little one, what happened?" He asked like the worried brother that apparently he had to play to be.

"She hit her head hard, and had a concussion, nothing to serious but she should stay awake for a while to be sure" explain the nurse next to Vina "are you the adult responsable for her?" She asked raising an eyebrow.

"Yes, I am her older brother" he answered easily taking a clipboard and a pen that the nurse gave him.

"Good, sign there and you are free to go" she said giving one last word to Vina about coming again if she felt dizzy or sick.

"Here, thank you" he said giving her the sign forms and helping Vina out of the hospital bed.

"Thank you" said Vina to the nurse and left the hospital with Jason.

Jason waited to be in the car to break the silence between them.

"Care to explain why I receive a call from the hospital for my injured little sister?" He finally asked as soft as he could trying really hard  not to scare her away.

"You had to promise to never tell Damián" Davina said sounding very fragile and worried "please" she begged and this was the first time that Jason heard her like that and he hate it with every cell of his body.

"I promise" he answered and for a moment he just waited for her to be ready to talk no wanting to pressure her.

Vina took a deep breath and told her about the crappy afternoon that she had.

According to Vina when she was returning from visiting her Lela a woman stop her on the street and told her that she and her friend were attacked and that her friend needed help and tried to drag her to an alleyway.

Vina wasn't stupid so instead of just follow her she tried to call from an ambulance but she was so focused on the woman that was pushing her that she didn't realize that she wasn't alone until she felt something hard hit her head from behind making her fell to the ground.

She tried to grab her purse that fell with her and use her taser but she was drag through the floor by her feets.

By this point Vina was pretty sure that this wasn't just a rob and she panicked.

So she let the guy drag her and pretend to be pass out and waited to kick the guy making him fell to the ground and Vina just scaped without looking back.

Now why she didn't want to tell Damián was obvious, the little demon would probably be in search of blood, and Jason was totally with him on that, but they were thing that didn't have sense.

First, by how easy she was released from the hospital and that they weren't cops around it was clear that Davina didn't said the truth about how she injured herself.

Now they were a lot of reasons why a girl wouldn't want to say why she was attack but Vina was smart she knew how dangerous was to let go those people after she saw their faces and even Vina who didn't like to mess in other people business would know how bad was to let a rapist — and God knows what else — free.
