Chapter 31: Revenge Is Never Good

We arrive at the mall and see Sam and Krystal hunched over the pile of ashes.

"Sam, which way did Sean go, we don't have much time!" I said. "He headed that direction..." Sam said, sounding very angry and upset.

"Luke, stay here and take care of them. I'll go and find Sean." I said. "Got it." Luke said.

I head towards the location Sean went and found traces of his black flames. I grab the flame and use it to track him down. "Shit, he's fighting them." I said to myself. "At least he's not far." I resumed my flight to find him until I noticed black flames rising outside the mall.

"Sean!! Where are you?!!" I yelled.

No response...

Suddenly I hear him screaming with rage. "I'm coming Sean!!!" I said out loud.

"I'm on the roof!!" Sean said. I head to the roof by jumping out the window and right before my eyes, I saw Sean in a new demon form. Sean had horns on the sides of his head and his skin turned gray.

As he fought the half demons, one of them tried to pierce Sean with his claws. Before it could do anything, I summoned one of my chains and hooked it into its forearm, pulling him towards me.

"Oh look, another half demon. How lucky can we get?" The half demon said with an attractive voice.

"Shut it, I can't last one day without chaos coming around the corner and keeping me from relaxing!" I said.

"Ohh, a feisty one, I love that." The half demon said. "What the?" I said. "Can't you tell, I'm Tiffa, a Lust Demon, I can make you my little pet." Tiffa said. "Dominant woman, flattering  but I already have someone." I said.

"Ditch that horrendous girl and come to a more beautiful work from hell." Tiffa said. "Again, flattering but I have to deny your offer. If I was single then sign me up." I said. "Such a shame, looks like I have to kill you." Tiffa added. "Say what now."

Tiffa pulls on the chains to pull me in closer whilst getting her claws ready to stab me. "Come to mommy." Tiffa said in a slutty voice. "Shut the hell up!" I said summoning my sword.

"She's getting in your head, don't let her touch you! Not even for a second!" Sean said while holding back the other demon. "Come on mate, let the kid have some fun." The other demon said.

I quickly maneuver around her, evading the claws. I make my chain disappear and switch it to another sword.

"You want me that bad, come and get me." I said. Tiffa blushed, her eyes having heart shaped pupils now and immediately rushed towards me.

"I just messed up." I said to myself. "Yes you did, now once I touch you, you will become my little pet." Tiffa said.

Every move Tiffa made was aimed either my neck, chest or my sides. Her claws barely missing me. Meanwhile, Sean began to look exhausted while he fought the other demon. His form began to fade away and come back, as if he was a dying light bulb.

Suddenly, Sean was kicked on his side and then thrown off the roof. "Alright, that's one lad down, one more to go." The demon said. "Sean!" I said.

"I didn't want to do this, but it looks like I have to. LUKE, THERE'S A LUST DEMON OVER HERE!!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. Tiffa stopped fighting, and the other demon stopped walking.

"Where is she!?!" Luke said in a menacing tone. "Right in front of me." I said, knowing what is about to happen.

Luke immediately appeared in front of Tiffa, shocking her. "You..... will be mine!" Luke said. "What the?" Tiffa said. "Fight me." Luke said.

"Have fun Tiffa." I said as I walked towards the other demon. "So, what's your name and ability?" I asked. "The name's Ray, and I'm a powerful type of demon, mate. An Elemental Demon with all five elements." Ray said. "Great, I already experienced an Ice demon, now an Elemental one. My luck." I said.

"Your friend overthere mate, ran out of energy since he used it all on both me and Tiffa." Ray said.

"Okay, are you Australian or something?" I asked while interrupting.

"Yes, when I was human, way before Satan turned me into a demon, I used to live in Australia. I don't regret anything I did overthere." Ray said. "What did you do over there?"

"I killed many innocent people just for fun, but I accidentally lost my mate to a fire I caused, so I killed myself. Hoping I can see her again, I met Satan instead and he said he would help me if I killed for him on the surface world. Now, I can control the elements at the palm of my hands." Ray said.

"I felt the same way as you. Instead of Satan, I met Cthulu and he sent me back in time to save her, and I did. Now she's alive and well." I said. "Wow, we share the same feeling mate. Well it doesn't matter now, we will fight until one dies." Ray said. "Alright then."

Ray suddenly lifted me up with just one finger. "Icicles!" Ray said. I quickly used my chains to break each icicle before they hit me. I throw my chain, hooking it in Ray's arm. I pulled him up, then slammed him down and through the roof.

I jump down and make sure no one got hurt. "Nice one mate, but try a little harder next time." Ray said. "If you say so." I said. I rushed towards him and used my Shadow Demon abilities. "Shadow Presence." I said while I phased through the ground. I appear from behind and punched Ray towards the food isles.

"When did you get a second ability mate?" Ray asked. "Long story." I said. "Come on, teach me, we can both rule the underworld after the ritual." Ray said. "You know about the ritual?" "Of course I do, every half demon and demon should know."

I froze, not only did Ray know about the ritual, he offered me the deal in which I don't know how to respond.

"What do you say mate, do we have a deal?" Ray said. "No, I'm not falling for any traps you have planned." I said. "I can handle the ritual alone."

"That's a shame, looks like someone has to win this fight then." Ray said. "Rolling Earth." Ray suddenly made the ground move around, as if it was water. "This won't affect me." I said as I was in the air before he used that ability.

"Scorching Flares." Ray summoned flares of fire, making them rise towards me. I get hit by one and fall on a fruit stand.

"It's sad really, I offered you half of the underworld but you denied it. Now you'll die before the ritual happens, goodbye mate." Ray said as he pointed a finger at me with an icicle at the end.

"Dark Fate." Sean said out of no where. "What the-!" Ray said. Sean slices his head off, causing the blood to float and burn away in black.

"What's this about a ritual?" Sean asked angrily. "I don't know." I said. "Tell me, I'm not in the mood so if I don't get an answer, I'll turn you into Jade before she came back to life."

I punched Sean off of me. "Don't talk about Jade like that." I said. "Or what?" Sean said. "Or I'll..." I stayed silent. "I knew it, you're weak."

I looked at Ray's corpse and say there's still blood. I quickly grab some of the blood and drink it. The same feeling happened again but the number was even lower, at 476 left.

"What was all that about?" Sean said. "None of your business." I said. "You and Luke have been oddly hiding something, what are you hiding?" Sean said as he lifted me up by my shirt. "Sean, chill out." I said.

Suddenly ice came out of my fingertips.

Sean let me go and was shocked. "How did you do that?" Sean asked. "I don't know." I said. We hear a loud explosion from the roof. "Luke!" Sean and I said.
