Chapter 7: Changes

"MAX!!!" We said except for Kathy.

"Oh my God, who long has it been Max. Wait and Tom, where's he at." "Tom is at our house with his girlfriend and my girlfriend is on vacation in the Bahamas, and holy shit that place is expensive to rent it all."

"Wait, you rented the whole island?" I asked. "Hell yeah if it's anything for my girl, I would buy it for her."

"How rich are you?" Luke asked.
"After the whole apocalypse happend, the town rewarded me with a shit load of money after saving the other half of the world's population. Plus you retards didn't even save all the world."

"More importantly guys is, STOP ASKING ME QUESTIONS!!!! Aren't we here to find whoever the hell we're looking for." Max said.

"Oh yeah, his name is Clockwork, doesn't that ring any bells into your head." I asked.

"Clockwork... Clockwork... oh... Him!?" Max questioned.

"Yeah, and if we don't stop this soon, we will all be affected by his abilities.

"Wait, are you guys not going to introduce me to him?" Kathy asked.

"Oh, this is Max, he lives close to Luke's house. The one that has the walls painted darkish brown and red."

We can see Kathy's face full of confusion, so for the past hour we just wasted, she figured out where his house is but we wasted so much time when we should be looking for Clockwork.

"Ok, I don't know why but let's make a small role check because some of us were just sleeping on the benches," Sean said.

"Ok, Luke." "Here." "Kathy." "Here." "Chris and Max." "Here," we both said. "John..." "John! Shit where did he go." "What the... He probably ran off to find Clockwork."

"Well we better go find him or he'll die," Kathy said.

As we were searching for John by air, Kathy all of a sudden turned back to a little kid. We were shocked and we realize we're getting close to Clockwork.

"Why did you guys get so big?" Kathy asked.

"AAAAAHHHH!!!!" Kathy screamed in high pitched voice. "What happened to me? Why am I a kid again?"

"No to time to talk, Sean take her back to your house and tell your parents to fix her and come back as fast as you can say "Nein."

"Got it."

"Wait I want to help." Kathy said.

"I'm sorry Kathy but we can't risk on losing you," Sean said in an older brother tone.

Kathy frowns.

"Okay guys, the rest of us, let's go."

As we were flying, we noticed something weird in the distance. We couldn't tell if it was a man killing someone, or someone fighting someone else. We ignored it because were demons not heroes. Sean on the other hand stopped and helped them.

As we were also getting close Sean catches up to us. We all got serious about this. No one said a word.

"Sean, is your sister back at the house?" I said. "Yes and I had to buy her stuff that were for her age."

In the distance we see Power Beams headed and locked on us.

"Split! Now!" Luke said.

We all separated and the beams followed us until we maneuvered it off of us.

"You guys alright," I asked. "Yeah, were ok," Sean said.

"We must be getting close," John said so furious.

As we were getting close to the entrance of Clockwork's lair, Sean and Luke were snatched and taken inside the lair.

*struggling*

"Help us!" Sean said. "Please!" Luke said after Sean.

"NOO!" Max said.

"God Dammit." John said furiously.

"Ok, enough is enough, were getting close so stick together," Max said.

"Got it." I said.
