Chapter 12: An Illusion

Max teleports Luke and I above his head and we try to slash at him with our swords. We both use flames that correspond our colors, but he was too quick. Sam quickly copies Max and teleports Sean, Kathy, John and Krystal to the fight. Max and Sam rush behind them.

"Don't forget about me!" Tom said running from his car. He had followed us to lend a hand.

"Tom!" Max said.

"Be careful guys, he's too quick to even touch him." Tom said. "No problem for me." John said so arrogantly.

"Fiery Quick Slash!" John quickly attacks but it's no use.

"Oh, come on, I'm supposed to be defeated by you weaklings. My last victim picked up a better fight then all of you." The Shadowman said.

"Luke and Sam, can both of you distract him for a bit?" I asked. "We'll try." Sam said.

"Ok, I have an idea on how to finish him quick with no one hurt." Max said. "How do we start?" Kathy asked.

"AAAAaaaaagh!" Luke yelled while being thrown over us. He spits out blood, gets back up and gets back to the diversion with Sam.

"Now then, I will teleport Luke and Sam back here and Tom will heal them back up and meanwhile he does that, Sam and I will teleport Sean and Kathy above the Shadowman. After that I will teleport everyone around him so we can surround him and attack all at once."

"That's a bit complicated, but fuck it, let's do it." I said. "Now, everyone get to your position."

Max teleported Sam and Luke to Tom and then teleports Sean and Kathy above the Shadowman.
Sam gets healed and helps Max to teleport us around him and... it doesn't end well.

"What the-?" The Shadowman said.

"Kathy, use the secret technique we practiced with father!" Sean said. "Okay."

"Eternal Darkness!" Kathy said. The Shadowman gets blinded by darkness and misses every shot.

"Shadow Slam!" Sean said.

The Shadowman gets released by the dark and gets smashed to the ground and coughs blood. The Shadowman breathes intensely but the breathing turns to laughter.

"What's so funny?" I said and uppercut him to his back. I grab his collar and threaten him to another punch.

"You want to know what's funny? I just captured three of you friends and you didn't notice." The Shadowman said.

"Huh?" I start to notice John, Krystal, and Sam were gone. "Where are they?" I said so furiously.

He chuckes and says, "I sent them to the city in the middle of what's happening to your earth and that's about 15 miles from where we are."

(Jump to John, Krystal, and Sam)

"What the-? Where are we?" John asked. "I don't know babe, I'm scared, we should try to find the team." Krystal said.

"Looks like we're in the city." Sam said. "We're also in the middle of the freeway!" John yelled.

John grabbed Krystal and Sam and jumped off the freeway, fly over the edge and fall into a river. He then grabbed them and threw them and himself out of the river.

"Are you guys alright?" Sam asked while coughing. *Cough* "Yeah, we're okay." Krystal replied.

As they were drying up, the see a enormous green mushroom cloud coming from the field.

"There they are, come on, let's go." John said.

(Jump back to the rest)

"Luke, are you alright?" I asked. "I'm good." Luke replied.

"Shadowman, I'm not going down without out a fight!" Sean yelled with his left arm all bruised up. "You can try." The Shadowman says while chuckling.

"Don't mock me! With this sword, I will kill you with the help of Kathy and my friends!" "Pft, you can't even lay a finger on me even if you tried."

"Kathy let's go!" Sean said. "Sean, No!" Kathy said.

Sean jumps and swings his sword and makes a clean cut, slicing The Shadowman's left arm off. Max teleports Sean back so he can heal his bruised arm.

"Tom use your fire, combine with Luke's and my flames plus Kathy's dark flames to hit him in his chest." I said. "Got it." Tom replied.

As soon as we use our flames, we see red flames with gold flames. "Don't forget about our flames!" John said just in time with Sam and Krystal.

"Sean, Max, Now!" I yelled.
