Chapter 18: Powerful Demon

As Tom and I head to the store, we hear cops say that two kids started the fire and one of them wore a white long sleeved shirt and the other one wore a purple tank top.

"Uhh, you don't think their talking about us. Right? " I said. "Just ignore it." Tom said.

We buy the snacks and start making our way back to the house until the cops see us and question us.

"You kids haven't have seen the fire, have you?" One of the cops said. "What type of question is that, of course we saw it, who's that blind not to notice a fire?" Tom said. I stayed quiet and was a bit nervous.

"Well there were two kids that started the fire and they fit your description and we started to have suspicion."

"So you're going to harass a minor and his older brother." "No were just saying that you fit the description and we don't mean harm." "Alright then, were just going home and you keep searching who did it."

I saw what Tom was doing and went with it.

"Hey bro, mom said not to be late." I said. "Alright." Tom said.

"Now that's how you talk to a cop." Tom said far enough so the cops won't hear.

We head back tell the group what happened.

"Hey guys, we just got interrogated by cops about a fire we didn't do." I said. "And.." John said. "Unless you did something, I don't care."

"Look, let's just eat the snacks and watch something on the TV, ok." Tom said. "So what do y'all wanna watch?" "Let's watch the new horror movie with the possession of an old lady." "Fuck you, and fuck no, we are not watching that." Luke said afraid.

Before we play the movie, the doorbell rang and Sean went to check who was at the door... it was the same cops. Tom and I got up and went to the door to "talk" outside.

"What is it now?" I said. "You two aren't brothers huh?" One cop said. "Yeah, you caught us, but we didn't do the fire." Tom said.

"Doesn't matter right now. You two are coming with us." One of the cops said.

"No we're not." Tom said. One of the cops grabbed Tom's arm but he noticed something wasn't right.

Tom summoned his sword and pierced the cop in the chest. The cop suddenly turned to dust and Tom slashed at the other cop.

"Fakes, I knew it." Tom said. "Luke, your demon is near."

"What?! Now?!" Luke said.

"What does it look like?" Max said.

"Its not human formed, its like those long chinesse dragons but with its body in flames and its head is wolf skull with fire coming out of the eye sockets." Luke said. "It only uses its human form when necessary."

"The human form is like a normal teenager with a hoodie, but he has the top part of the wolf skull." Luke added.

"So that's what started the fire." Sam said. "Exactly and it looks like it's a Trick type demon." Tom said. "Yup, and it looks like its targeting stage has begun." Luke said.

"It's what?!" I said. "Yeah, and by the way, when he turns to human form it can trick one of us and make us fight each other." Luke said. "Great, so I'm supposed to experience death real soon." I said.

As we start cleaning up to head out Max and I noticed Kathy take pain pills. We approach her and ask her what's wrong.

"I have this massive headache thats been bugging me since we fought Valkus." Kathy said. "Let me check." Max said. Max raised two fingers and tapped Kathy's forehead whilst his eyes are closed.

"That's not a headache, it's a vision." Max said while frightened. "What did you see?" I asked.

Max turns to me and says: "You don't want to know."

"Tell me, I can handle it." I said. "I saw you on the ground, blood everywhere, and you're missing your... right arm and burned on your left." I stayed silent with a frightened expression on my face.

"We can't tell anyone else, got that." I said. "Right." Max and Kathy said.

"Hey, you three coming or not!?" Luke said. "Were coming!" Max said.

"Max, Chris, I'll drive come on." Tom said. We ride with Tom while the rest of them are in Sean's truck.

"Hey, why were you three last to come out the house?" Tom asked. "We were looking for Chris's sword." Max said. "Ok then." Tom said, confused.

Luke calls my phone so he can instruct the directions but tells us to pull over.

"What's the problem?" I said through the phone. "Sean's truck started to lose control and almost braked in front of you." Luke said.

We all get out of the vehicles and check the problem. Turns out the engine was peirced by a small dagger and we didn't even notice it.

"How did it get through? I didn't even see it coming." Sean said. "We're getting close." Luke said.

"We can park them here." John said. "Alright then." Max said. Max put a trap, just in case someone wanted to steal.

"John, carry Krystal." Sean said. "Why?" John said. "Because she's not half demon you idiot." Sean said while smacking the back of John's head. "Ow! That hurt!" "Do you want another one?"

"Both of you, be quiet. I need to find its location." Max said.

As Max looks for the location, Kathy gets another headache. I tap her forehead but saw another vision.

*gasp* "I saw all of us..! Only five out us nine survive this." I said. "Who dies." Luke asked.

"Tom... Max... John... and Krystal... survive." I said with a pale expression.

"No I can't die, the vision could be random, its not real." Luke said. I slap Luke. "Listen, we don't know if its real but we don't know if its fake either, alright?" I said. "Right."

"Found him. He's only five miles away." Max said. "Alright lets fly." Tom said. Everyone release their wings showing our true demonic power.

As we fly, we start to see a glimpse of the demon. The demon sees us and flies toward us at a rapid speed.

"Look out!" Luke said.

We spread apart and the demon flies above us.

"Hello Luke, I've been waiting." The demon said with a low and scary voice. "Nice to see you... Shinra." Luke said.

"John, take Krystal home, she can't fly so she won't be helpful." Tom said. "Right, lets go." John said while flying away.

"SHINRA!!" Luke said. "LUKE!!" Shinra said.

They both charge at each other and as soon as they collide, their strength push us farther.

"Luke is that strong?!" Sam said. "Yup, he's strong but he doesn't know how to use his strength." I said.

"Come on, Luke needs help." Sean said.

We follow Sean to fight Shinra. Shinra whipped us to the ground with its tail as soon as we got close to him.

"You are all going to die. None of you will win!" Shinra said while diving to the ground.

"MOVE OUT THE WAY!!" I said.

Shinra hit the ground and made a giant crater on the ground pushing us with great strength.

"Luke, you and I need to settle this alone!" Shinra said.
