Chapter 21: Farewell Old Friend

The weather stayed the same since yesterday's encounter with Khan and we haven't seen or felt anything change since then.

"Khan is being smart for making us wait this long." I said. "No kidding, he's way too patient." Luke said.

Max still looked concern before he explained who Khan is. I thinked to myself and thought, Khan did something to him in his past.

"Hey Max, you don't look like you're old self, what's the problem?" I asked. "It's nothing, you don't need to worry about me, what you need to worry is how do we attack during our fight with Khan." Max said.

"I know, but you don't seem to be ready to fight him. Did Khan do something to you in the past?" I asked. "Do you remember when we fought Valkus and she used the spell on us?" Max said. "Yeah, why?"

"At first I didn't know who started the fire, but it was Khan. He was there. I saw him at the last second before the spell broke. He killed my parents." Max said with anger.

Everyone just turned to see him frustrated.

"What happened?" Tom asked. "Khan killed his parents. He started the fire." I said.

"All of you guys have seen your demons but never noticed. That's why you have past traumas. Your demons caused your traumas." Max said.

"Sean, come here." Max said. "Ok, what now?" Sean asked. "I'm going to use your dark power and forge it with my mind power and I want to see if I can find each demon in your traumas." Max said.

"Look for Shinra first, how did I miss a huge flying demon?" Luke said.

I stayed in shock and in rage... Zozo caused it.

"Found him. He was above you in the sky." Max said. "That explains it." Luke said.

"Check mine." I said. "Then you can check the others, all I want to know is where he is?" "Fine."

"I already know where my demon was, he possessed my father and tried to frame my father in killing me." Tom said. "Same goes for us." Sean said for Kathy, and himself.

"Found him, ZOZO possessed the driver that caused the accident." Max said.

I was furious...

"What about Valkus?" Sam said. "She's was there when he killed himself and she..." Max said. "She what?" Sam said. "She raped him..." Max added.

Suddenly we hear a loud crash coming from outside. We all head outside and see a large icicle pierced in the middle of the street.

"He wants us to fight now." Tom said. "Max, Luke, and Chris, find his location. Now!"

As we searched for him, another icicle headed towards us. Krystal jumped and melted the icicles with John's flames.

"Uhh, guys there's more where that came from." Luke said as he pointed toward thousands of icicles in the air.

"Everyone! Use your flames to melt them!" Sean said. Everyone started melting the icicles just in time before we found Khan's location.

"Found him, he's on a frozen lake, just 10 miles away." I said.

We all started to fly while avoiding the icicles and Luke had to carry Krystal to the lake.

"Wait what about the civilians!? Aren't we gonna defend them from the icicles!?" I said. "They have legs, they can run out of there!" Sean said.

"We're almost there just 4 miles more!" Max said. "Uughh!" We all said. "Oh come on, you guys are acting like kids!" Max said. "I am a kid, idiot!" Luke said. "You know what I meant!"
