Chapter 9: Times Ticking

"Sam, can you hear me...?" I said while running. "Damn it, she's losing conscienceness. I got to hurry and get with the group." I said.

As I'm getting a glance of seeing the others, another pole is thrown and spears right through my back and in to my stomach. I throw up blood but still run to protect Sam and take her to the others.

"Chris, Sam, what happened to you two?" Max said. "I can't explain it, we were just attacked out of nowhere and Chris carried me to you guys as fast as he could." Sam said waking up.

"Max, get over here and heal Chris." John said.

I was covered in my own blood thinking, "Am I going to die here," while waiting for Max to heal me.

"Chris are you alright now." Max said so worried.

"I'm alright, but what the fuck attacked us back there?" I said. "I don't know, but what ever it was, I'm pretty sure it was Clockwork." John said.

"And another thing, when did Kathy get here." I asked. "She arrived when you guys left." Max said.

Meanwhile with Sean and Luke...

"Listen here Clockwork, you better let me out or I'll get out myself and break your neck." Sean said.

"You can try kid, but you won't succeed." Clockwork said with confidence.

"Okay, your choice." Luke said knowing what's gonna happen.

"Dark Spiral" Sean said.

Their cage broke and the two of them started a fight with Clockwork.

"Uugghh, now I have to fight you weaklings huh." Clockwork said.

Back to the rest of the group...

"Okay, you're all healed up, now let's go find Sean and Luke. Who knows what's happening to them." Max said.

"Alright, let's go." I said.

As we were running through the halls, we were also staying quiet and being cautious about our surroundings. Then we hear a sound of chains being broken.

"Did anyone hear that?" John asked.

"Yeah, I heard that loud and clear." I said. "Same here." Kathy said.

"It sounds like it's coming from this door." Sam said.

"Alright, were gonna break this door in three, two, one, NOW!!" John said.

"Oh I don't think so... Time Warp." Clockwork said in the other side of the door.

Max, John, Sam, Kathy, and I were teleported in the room where Sean and Luke were fighting Clockwork.

"Thank God you guys made it, hurry and get ready to fight him." Luke said.

"Alright." We said.

"Demon Flames!" I yell.

I lay a hit on Clockwork but not enough damage was inflicted. Now the crew had joined in.

"Demonic Flames." We all say.

Lots of damage was inflicted and he was pretty injured. Then Max, Luke, John, Sean and I morphed together accidentally not knowing how we did it.

"Woah, we just became into a stronger demon." We said at the same time.

All of a sudden, Clockwork lunged at us and pushed us back. We suddenly snapped and punched Clockwork in the chest, grabbed his neck and started strangling him with anger in our eyes.

"Guys, you need to unfuse and turn normal!" Kathy said.

"GUYS, LOOK OUT!!!!!" Sam yelled...

Clockwork throws a heavy punch and aim directly on the side of our head... we unfuse.

"Ugh, I still feel the pain on my head." I said. "Wait, John, don't you feel the pain, that was a heavy hit." Max said.

John is just breathing heavy and kneeling on one knee but once we look at the floor we see a puddle of blood next to him. He's still standing while he's losing that much blood.

"Luke, grab him and bring him to Max, he'll heal him." Sean said. "Got it."

"Come on John, you need to lie down. Max will heal you." Luke said. John faints. "Oh shit, he fainted guys."

"Bring him over here dipshit." Max said.

"Alright the rest of us will cover for you three, while we join Sam and Kathy." I said.

"Alright." Luke said.

"Guys... be.. careful..." John said while grunting.

"We will... Come on Chris, they can't hold on much longer." Sean said.

"Alright, let's go..."
