Chapter 13: Sean and Kathy

"Sean, Max, Now!" I yelled.

With our flames, we disintegrated the Shadowman. All of a sudden, we feel so much pain on our backs, almost if we were being stabbed. We were in so much pain that we didn't notice The Shadowman walk from behind us and reveal he's not dead.

"Wh-what the-? How are you still alive?" I asked. "You see Chris, when I threw Luke over you, I put needles on him to eject them on to you with out you even feeling them. Those needles created an illusion so you can see a different version of this fight."

"You won't get away from me." Sean said.

Sean stands up even with the pain killing him. He gets his sword and we all can see a dark shadow emanating from him. I know this feeling, he has anger and fear consuming him. Back when we fought ZOZO, I lost control and went to a different form of my demon self.

"Sean, this isn't you, don't lose control." I yelled.

"I'm done with this, BULLSHIT!" Sean said. His eyes turn black, his teeth grew sharper and he wasn't hesitant to attack.

"Oh come on, you may have gotten over the pain, but I'm just getting started!" The Shadowman said.

Sean gave him a backhanded punch and The Shadowman went flying and was out cold.

I grab the needle that's on me, take it off and then use my flames to remove everyone's needles from them. I then get up and grab Sean with the help of Luke, Tom, and Max. He wasn't budging so I had to smack him and knock him out cold.

"Max, heal him up. John, Luke, Tom, follow me." I said.

Sam, Kathy and Krystal stay with Sean to take care of him.

"Nobody hurts my friends." Tom said. "Tom, wait!" I yelled.

"Death Needle." The Shadowman said.

A black needle shoots towards Tom, coming in way to fast for him to dodge.

"Tom, No!" John said.

In the blink of an eye, Sean all of a sudden had the needle in his hand. Tom being frightened behind him.

"Sean, you're awake." I said. "I'm gonna hit you back from that smack you gave me." Sean said. "Oh."

Sean breaks the needle and charges at the Shadowman with Kathy behind him.

"Ready Kathy?" Sean asked. "Ready." Kathy responded.

Sean and Kathy attack The Shadowman from behind and above him. Kathy kicks him in the under the chin and sends him flying in the air. Sean slams him back down to the ground making a large crater on the ground.

The Shadowman gets overwelmed from all the pain he's enduring. Kathy impales him through his chest. While Sean backs up, Kathy leaves her sword in the Shadowman's chest.

The Shadowman lifted his hand and said, "Inescapable Death Needle." The Shadowman grunted in pain. A thick needle spewed out of the palm of his hand and headed towards Kathy.

"Kathy look out!" Sean yelled.

The needle makes a sharp turn and now gets towards Sean and since he wasn't expecting it, he couldn't react fast.

"Shit, I can't dodge it" Sean said. Sean had no choice. He let the needle come towards him, but nothing happened.

"S-Sean, take care of everyone."

"No, why did you do this, this wasn't your fight." Sean said. "I-I know it wasn't , but you're missing out. I never told you guys, but do you see my left eye?" "Yeah, what about it?" Sean asked.

"It's purple with the white part being black, so this means I can change reality and I can switch positions with anyone, let me show you." Tom said.

"Reality Check." Tom said and everything stayed the same except the position of The Shadowman and Tom. Tom was impaled with the sword and The Shadowman had the needle in him.

"NO, THIS ISN'T HAPPENING TO ME! I WAS SUPPOSED TO WIN!" The Shadowman said. He fell to the ground and was twitching and his eyes turn bloodshot red with blood tearing from his eyes.

"Looks like we win this time." Sean said. The Shadowman gave his last words with blood coming out of his mouth.

"I will comeback." He said with his last breath.

"Hey! Don't celebrate without me!" Tom said. "Shit, I forgot my sword is inside you." Sean said.

Sean pulls his sword from Tom and Max begins to heal his wounds.

"Well, everyone put your swords away, turn back to normal, and get back in Sean's truck so we can head to Tom's place." Max said.

"Alright then I'll order the sushi then." Tom said. "Oh and Max, I have to tell you something privately so could you come with me in my car?" Tom added. "Okay." Max said.

Everyone goes inside Sean's truck meanwhile Max rides with Tom.

"Alright, so what were you gonna tell me." Max asked.

"Its- Its about Kathy." Tom said.
