"Luke!" Sean and I both said.
We fly through the hole I made to the roof and see Tiffa trying to run away from Luke. "Kill me please, my lust abilities don't affect him." Tiffa said. "He's 15, that's why." I said. "And he's in that mood most teenagers get when they are 15." Sean added. "But he looks 18." Tiffa said. "Don't let his looks fool you." I said while putting my hand on her neck.
"Don't do that!" Luke said. "Why? She wants to die." I said as ice began to freeze her neck. "Hold on, how are you doing that?" Luke asked. "New ability." I said.
I summon my sword and cut Tiffa's neck. "Great, you killed her. Are you going to drink her blood too." Luke asked. "Hold on, Luke knows about the blood drinking thing?" Sean asked.
"Yes, he saw me drink another demon's blood but I didn't get their ability because it was also a Tracker demon." I said. "Let me get this straight, you can get abilities by just drinking their blood?" Sean asked. "Yeah, but it only works on me because of the dark version of me trying to break free." I said.
"That's weird. You should tell Max and the others." Sean said. "We can't." I said. "Why not?" "Because I don't need anyone's help on my problems, my problems can be handled by me and only me!" I said angrily.
"Listen here, if you don't tell them, your dark version will get strong enough to get out and kill us all." Sean said. "No it won't. I'll make sure of that." I said. "So what happens if it does get loose?" Sean added. "Like I said, it won't happen!" I said.
"Just know, it will happen and it will be your fault." Sean said. Sean walked back to Sam and Krystal and took them back to their homes while Luke and I headed to our home.
"Do you think he will tell them?" Luke asked. "I don't think so, but let's hope he doesn't." I said.
"Also, how did you get Ice Demon abilities?" Luke asked. "I don't know, I think when a drank Ray's blood... Wait, he's was an Elemental Demon, I should have all five elements." I said. "Then test them out." Luke added.
"Ice... Water... Fire... Earth... Air... " I said. In that order, the elements were summoned from the palm of my hands.
"Awesome, wait, the rest can't see you use these new abilities." Luke said. "Shit, I forgot I can't." I said. "Well Sean already knows, and I don't know if he would tell them."
My phone began to ring...
"Oh no, it's Max!" I said scared. "Well answer it!!" Luke said.
I answer the call...
"Hey Chris, have you been attacked by half demons because there have been lots of them attacking us..." Max said. "Yeah, but we handle them. Did you hear what happened to Kathy though?" I asked him.
"Yeah, I heard... also Tom was the only one to master the 'Healing From The Dead' ability but it takes half of your lifetime so he doesn't want to risk it." Max said. "So she can't come back?" I asked. "I'm afraid she isn't." Max said. "Ok then, I'll see you then, bye." "Bye."
"Well, looks like Kathy isn't returning." I said. "Why not." Luke said. "Number one, she died to the Eternal Death ability and number two, Tom can't do the same ability he used when we fought Jackal." I replied. "Oh."
"Sucks to be Sean." I said with a laughing tone and with a grin.
"Why did you say it like that?" Luke asked. "I mean, that's not my problem so I could care less about Kathy, Sean, or anyone else." I said. "You're not Chris, are you?" Luke said. "You're very smart." I responded.
Luke immediately turned into his demon form and summoned his sword. He backs up and shows fear.
I turn into my demon form and summon my chains instead of my swords. "Bring it." I said.
Luke rapidly swings at my side but my chains wrapped around his sword, making the sword hit the ground.
I grab Luke by his neck, lifting him up from the ground. Luke grabs my arm, breaking the joint in the elbow. "You little... bastard!" I said. "Too bad it doesn't effect me." My elbow reattached itself as if it never broke.
"Chris, don't forget who you're messing with." Luke said. "You made a promise."
My memories kicked in, and I realized what I was doing. "Remember Jade." Luke added. "Remember you're friends."
I crumble to my knees, holding on to my head. "Shut up! I will kill each and every single one of you!" I said, still on the ground.
"Remember me, your cousin." Luke said.
"I'm sorry Luke." I said, finally in control again.
"Uhmmm, Chris, you might want to stand up, like now!" Luke added. "Why?" I asked. "Because there's a Half Demon about 20ft away from us, charging towards us."
"Where?!" I said immediately standing up. "Over there!" Luke said. "Quick, turn off your demon form and hide."
Luke hid behind a large bush while I hid behind a car. (Note: We are still near the parking lot of the mall)
"I can smell you...!" The half demon said, in a low and dead voice.
Suddenly, another Half Demon appeared and pummeled down the other demon.
He looked very intimidating. He wore a tuxedo but with no suit, his hair was crystal white and his eyes were bright red. His abilities were the same to a Dark Demon like Sean and Kathy, but it also had abilities from a Power Demon.
"You two can come out!" The demon said. "I'm not going to kill you unless you try something funny."
Luke and I come out of our hiding spots and walk up to him with our guards up.
"State your names and abilities." He said. "I'm Luke, I'm a Time and Tracker Demon." Luke said. "And I'm Chris, a Shadow, Elemental, and Tracker Demon." I said.
"Wow, three abilities, but I have to correct you. You have four." He said. "What?!" I said. "Yup, you are also a Blood Demon."
"What's a Blood Demon?" I asked. "A Blood Demon is a demon that mainly relies on blood. For example, if you consume a demons blood, you can get their ability. Also, your physical strength increases, depending on the type of blood you consume." He responded.
"So that means I was born as a Half Demon..? How..? Both my parents are humans." I asked. "They don't always have to be demons, you were just lucky or Satan gave it to you." He said.
"Hold on, where are my manners? My name is Alexander, and I'm a Blood, Power, and Dark Demon." Alexander said. "Nice name for a guy in a suit and tie." Luke said. "Thanks."
"Anyways, I'm going to hunt more Half Demons down so both of you stay safe, and be ready for the ritual if you're participating." Alexander said. "Alright then, see ya." I said.
Alexander leaped over the mall and left. "Let's head home." Luke said.
We fly our way back and notice the rest of the group at my front yard. "Oh no." I said.
"Where have you two been?" Max said. "We were still at the mall where Sean was at." I said. "I know that, and when we're you going to tell us your new abilities?" Max asked angrily.
I looked over at Sean and he was trying to avoid eye contact.
"I have Elemental abilities." I said.
"How did you get them?" Max asked. "Uhm, I figured out how to get new abilities." I lied. "Come inside, we'll figure something out." Max said.
