Chapter 44: Luke And His Search

(Right now, this chapter is happening at the same time Chris barely leaves Sean and looks for Sam and the rest)

*This Chapter is in Luke's POV*

"Where is this stupid stone?" I said. "She said it was here where we killed Jackal!" I said.

Luke searched and searched but couldn't find the stone. "Uhh, what color did she say it was?" I said.

Luke enters a flashback when Azora talked to him.

"Find a stone where you killed the Archdemon Jackal, you will notice it quickly because it will glow a color depending on who is closer to it." Azora said. "What if I can't find it?" I asked. "I'm sure you'll find it, besides your name is in The New Testament." Azora said.

Luke leaves the flashback and begins to continue on his search. "Okay, depending on the color...  how does that help!?" I said.

In the corner of Luke's eye, he was able to spot something glow green. "What was that?" I said.

Luke got closer to the glowing object, and to his surprise, it was the stone.

"Woah, it's pretty... what do I do now?" I said. "Save it when you fight Chris." Azora said from behind. "Don't do that!!" I said. "Sorry."

"And what do you mean, when I fight Chris?" I asked. "He's not himself, he already killed three of your friends." Azora said. "He... what..?" I said, distraught by the news. "Who did he...*gulp* kill?" I asked. "The oldest ones." Azora said.

Luke falls to the ground almost bursting into tears. "So... what will this stone do to stop him?" I asked. "Not the stone, you have to stop him." Azora said. "I'm sorry, you want to run that by me again... how am I, a fifteen year old, going to stop Chris, an eighteen year old that has more power against me!?" I asked.

"The stone will give you the same amount of power he has once you absorb the stone's power." Azora said. "How do I absorb it?" I asked. "Put your hand over it and say Absorb." Azora said.

Luke puts his hand over the stone and began to concentrate. "Absorb!" I said.

All the energy and power was starting to appear from the stone and enter Luke's hand. "I can feel it!" I said. "Hurry, say an Ability!" Azora added. "Uhh, Thunder Demon!" I said frantically.

Suddenly, small shocks of electricity came from the stone and into Luke.

Luke drops the stone and began to show off his new ability.

"Final Demon Form: Unlock!!" I said.

Luke pushed myself to unlock a new and final form with a new design.

Now, Luke's new form changed drastically. It went back to just having glowing green eyes and green hair, but now, small, green bolts of electricity sparked out of him.

(Luke doesn't realize that before Chris left Sam and the rest, Chris had gotten the same form, but with small, pink flame sparks)

"Okay, I'm ready to stop Chris." I said. "Good, now I will head back to heaven and inform everyone up there. Don't let us down Luke." Azora said. "I won't." I said.

As Azora left, Luke bolted into and out of the forest looking for Chris. "I should go and check on Jade if she's alright." I said to myself.

Luke arrives at Chris's house and walked inside to find no one. "Where could she be?" I said. Luke bolted towards Chris's parent's house to check there. "Hi, is Jade here?" I asked. "Yeah, she's in Chris's old room." Chris's father said. "Thank you."

Luke walked to the room to find Jade, worried to death for Chris.

"Jade, are you alright?" I said. "Luke!" Jade said as she ran up to Luke and hugged him. "Woah, what's wrong?" I asked. "I'm worried about Chris, I don't know if he's dead or alive." Jade said.

"Oh he is alive, but he's gone mad, he killed Max, Tom, and Sean, as I was told and who knows about the others." I said. "What..?" Jade asked as tears rolled down her face.

"I'm sorry you had to find out like this, but I have to say something else." I said. "What is it?" Jade asked. "I am chosen, to stop Chris's Rampage or who knows what he would do if he's still alive." I said. "I see, well tell him this, I still love him." Jade said. "I will, now I have to go and find him." I said.

Luke walks out of the house and bolted to Sam's house. "I have to tell them before it's too late." I said to myself.

Luke noticed smoke forming in the air and began to head to the source of it. He also began to hear ambulances and police nearby.

Luke arrives to the scene and what he sees, horrified him. He rushes towards the covered bodies and asked if he can identify the bodies.

The cops uncovered the bodies and Luke stayed frozen. "Sam... Krystal... John..!" I said.

"You know these three?" A cop said. "Yes, they're my friends!" I said in tears. "And I know who did this!"

"You mind telling us who it is?" The cop said. "No, you guys can't handle this." I said as I bolted to find Chris.

"Where is this son of a bitch?!" I said to myself, furiously.

"Time Rewind!" I said. Time began to fly backwards and I saw where Chris was headed to, he was headed to the forest where I was at before. "Normal Time!" I said as time went back to normal.

Luke headed towards the forest and found Chris, kneeling over a grave he just made. Luke stays behind a tree and eavesdrops on Chris. "I did it Max, I killed everyone and all I need is Luke." Chris said. Luke covered his mouth.

"Everyone will now know, who their new king will be, and after they find out, I will wipe all of humanity!" Chris said. "You should've just stayed out of my way, all of you should've done that, but no, you all tried to stop me." Chris said.

Luke noticed that Chris was tearing up.

"Anyways, I'll be headed off now to find Luke and kill him aswell." Chris said.

Chris stood up and began to walk away.

Luke got out of his hiding spot and confronted Chris. "Chris! I'm right here!" I said. "Luke? How long have you been hiding there?" Chris asked. "Right before you talked to Max's grave!" I said.

"So you heard everything?" Chris asked. "Yes, I heard, but you need to hear this message from Jade!" I said. "And what is that message?" Chris asked. "She wants you to come back, she still loves you!" I said.

Chris stayed frozen...

"How do you know?" Chris asked. "Because I went to check on her!" I said.

"Well it's too late for me to feel any sorrow! Now that I found you, I have to kill you now!" Chris said with a smile.

"I don't want to do this! What about your promise you made for me?" I said. "Fuck that promise, death is all I can promise for you!" Chris said.

"Here I come!!" Chris said as he rushed with his sword.
