complications - Maria Hill

CHAPTER 3- reinstated

after approximately one day and 15 hours, I was finally there with no stops my I add yeah you must be thinking did you not sleep. 

well, I rarely sleep which I should get the doctors but it isn't really affecting me. 

anyway, I parked my car in the headquarters carpark and made my way to the front desk.

"How can I help you," the women said.

"urm hey I am here to see Director Nick Fury," I said.

"urmm name please and ID," she said.

"yeah sure Nova McKenzie," I said handing my ID. she looked up at me shocked. I am guessing she had heard of me before.

"ok so he is in a meeting at the moment so if you would wait in the waiting room I will have one of his Agents come and collect you," she said with a smile.

I nodded and sat down I pulled out my phone to do something to pass time.

It had been around ten minutes when I heard a voice. "well well well if it isn't nova what a sight for sore eyes" I looked up to see Coulson smirking at me.

"Phil how have you been," I said shaking his hand.

"alright how have you been I see you have healed from that nasty injury," he said walking me to his office.

"well yeah California is what I needed I healed great just have a massive scar on my back that isn't that attractive at all," I said.

"also you know what this is about and also who is this Hill person Nick won't tell me anything," I said.

"not a clue and he is one of his top agents like us," he said opening to Fury's office.

we stepped in to see Natasha, Barton,  Fury some REALLY HOT brunette chick and a bunch of other lads sat around.

"agent McKenzie hello sit down and we'll get right to it," Fury said.

"Got it," I said and sat down.

"so resonantly we have been understaffed with top agents and well agents that I trust so I have wanted to make a proposition with you," Fury said.

"if I have to babysit the younger agents I swear to god I will be the reason you lose the other eye," I said.

"no no no I made that mistake last time," he said.

"hey that little shit deserved what he got god I wish I did worse," I said.

"what you gave him a broken nose and you shot him in the leg and broke two of his fingers," Barton said laughing.

"yeah exactly not enough," I said.

"ok ok let not get off-topic," Fury said.

"wait wanna know what he did to deserved it," the hot brunette said.

"later Hill anyway Nova we want you to come back to work as an agent with us with me," he said.

"Fine ok sure," I said putting my feet on the table.

"wait hold up that easy you drunk or something," Natasha said.

"well I did do some or a lot of drinking I don't know about drugs maybe a couple of lines or a joint or too who knows all I remember having some tequila shot them waking up in a randomers bed," I said.

"so nothing out of the ordinary for you then," Coulson said

"haha very funny but yes it does happen a lot like every week," I said.

"well that's got to change won't it," Hill said.

"wait who are you not to be rude," I said pointing at her.

"Nova this is Maria Hill, Hill this is Nova McKenzie you will both be working alongside each other." Fury said.

"Nice to meet you," Maria said.

"likewise," I said taking a cigarette from my pocket and putting it into my mouth

I turned to Fury and smirked and said "so when do we start".
