part 6 - street race

It was a week since I had landed for my mission and to be honest it was better than I had expected but worse at the same time.

The Gang I was watching was super chill they had parties and their races were amazing there is one tonight.

I had woken up in my hotel room to a text from Keane who I the leader of the gang. Telling me that we were meeting later today to prepare for the race.

I got dressed and my laptop notification came up telling me that Fury was face timing me.

I answered and fury, Coulson's, and hills face pop up.

"well if it isn't my favourite people how can I help you," I said grabbing a beer and sitting on the chair.

"drinking already Nova" Coulson laughed.

"well when you are living in a hotel are your neighbours a fucking nonstop it can get very annoying but then again, I will probably be annoying them to death after the party" I laughed taking a sip of my beer.

"ok agent we don't need to hear about your sex life" Fury.

"yeh, we want to know how it's all going with the gang not who you are sleeping with," Hill said.

"why you jealous Maria" I smirked. Causing maria to look away blushing.

"McKenzie," Fury said sternly.

"anyway there is a race tonight at the normal area and they will all be there," I said.

"goo good," Coulson said.

"you are having fun over their Nova," Hill said.

"yes, I am it's like a dream beer parties weed and racing. Why you are missing me hot stuff" I smirked.

"no, it is peaceful without you I don't have to be on my toes all the time if I get a call if you get arrested or are causing problems like you normally are," Fury said.

"you sound a bit salty their pirate," I said finishing my beer.

"What did you just call me," he said.

"anyway I best be off to go I need to get ready for the race," I said ignoring fury.

"goodbye McKenzie have fun," Maria said.

"adios amigos," I said. Turning off my computer.

TIMESKIP

It was time for the race, and I was getting ready.

I walked down to my car and drove to the warehouse where everyone was.

Once I got to the warehouse I was greeted by Keane and Jeremy who was another gang member.

"Hey lads how you are doing," I said giving them both a handshake.

"Hello Oliver (undercover name) we are all in the warehouse getting ready for the race," he said leading me into the warehouse there were over two hundred people all hanging about.

There were people on skateboards and BMX's at the skatepark area thing and then there are people smoking.

I walked over to the lads and grabbed a blunt a lit it is taking a puff.

"you ready for this race Oliver," Alfie said who was one of the members and the one I get on with the most.

"of course, Alfie why wouldn't I," I said taking a seat next to him.

"well, you might want to up your game today"

"and why is that Alfie," I asked

"the bets today are amazing if you win you could be rich as all of us put together," he said.

"you are joking," I said.

"Nope," he said laughing.

"well, I better get ready shan't I," I said standing up and walking over to the car that I would be driving in.

I got into the car and drove over to the starting line.

There were around twelve other cars at the starting line.

"Hello, gorgeous," an anonymous voice said behind me.

I turned to see Maddie who is a girl I have gotten close with if you know what I mean "well hello gorgeous how are you"

"I am well, you ready for this race."

"of course, I am ready for this race," I said.

"I'm ready to see you win I thought I would give you a good luck charm," she said.

"and what's that love," I said.

She leaned into a kiss and kissed me just as the inter comes turned on and announced that the race will be starting. I looked around as Maddie left something caught my eye when I was looking around the audience.

Maria Hill and Phill goddam Coulson ah great they locked eyes will me and Maria pointed to her ear signalling to turn my hearing aid thing on.

I got into the car when Phil started to talk through my ear.

"well nice to see you Nova in your natural habitat," Phil said.

"ha-ha very funny Phil but I mean this is the best," I said getting ready to set off. The lights went from red to green and we set off it was a tight race the entire time, but I pulled through just at the end coming first.

I got out of the car to Maddie jumping int to my arms.

"you did it," she said.

"yes, it did," I said.

"We should celebrate," she said. As Alfie came over to me and patted me on the back

"Well, well well look at that you did it," he said.

Keane came over with a bucket full of money "there you go Oliver" handing it to me.

"Thanks, Keane," I said putting my arm around Maddie's waist.

"well lads I would like to stay but I have some busy thing to be getting on with," I said giving my goodbyes and walking off with Maddie and kissing her.

I looked up to Maria to see Jealousy written all over her face when I locked eyes with her, I winked at her which made her smile and blush.

We went back to the hotel and did some celebrating for the rest of the night. Getting back for the neighbours last night.
