complications - Maria Hill

chapter 7- the attack

I woke up to my alarm blaring in my ear which everyone loves. it was around two months into my mission and everything was going how I wanted it to go we had finally got some leverage to get them arrested, they are transporting illegal weapons in and out of the country which s really what we don't need.

I sat up in bed to see nobody next to me which was weird because I swore I slept with someone last night anyway I turned n the news to see. a live broadcast of New York getting demolished by a bunch of aliens. well, I missed a lot.

but there were these other people in suits fighting them. a  tin can, the green giant, a guy who looks like Captain America, a redhead who looks very familiar, and a guy with a .... bow and arrow.... oh for fuck sake Fury what have you done now.

I scrambled to grab my phone to call someone, 

"Hello," Maria said.

"umm hey I am watching the news what in the hell is going on over there," I said concerned.

"urm well I can't say much over the phone I don't know what to tell you " she sighed.

"well is everyone safe are you safe is everyone alive I don't care about the weird aliens well I am," I was cut off by Maria "hey chill I am perfectly fine okay just a couple of scratches " 

"ok good you sure your okay you sound a bit of," I said,

"yeh yeh, I'm fine promise," she said not convincing at all.

"Maria does I nee to coming home," I said.

"urm well yeh, Fury is already scheduling you to come home tomorrow because we need to talk about everything," she said.

"ok what is the plan," I said.

"well today we are going to arrest the gang and your gonna get onto a flight and come home and I and you are going to talk okay," she said.

"of course let's get this on the road so I can come back to a probably very distraught you," I said.

"look I gotta go see you tomorrow," she said.

"yeh, no problem," I said hanging up.

well, I started to pack and get everything in the car that was out back ready to go home.

TIMESKIP

it was time to get the show on the road I had discussed the plan with the agents and we were just about to head in to arrest them

TIME SKIP (i know I am too lazy to write the action stuff put they were gun action BANG BANG)

it was time to go we had successfully arrested them all and contained all of the weapons safely I walked onto the quin jet to go home. it was very daunting because I didn't know what I was going to come home to Maria sounded very upset and it was very unusual for her even though I did see her ill but still unusual maybe someone got hurt or worse died, I just had that feeling that horrible feeling I couldn't get rid of it I hated it.

I would constantly be refreshing my news feed and text messages from the team to see if anything had happened but nothing just the same old thing but one thing that stood out something about the Avengers or something which must be the name of the boy band they had but together. like crime-fighting monkeys.

it had been a couple more hours and I had finally landed which is amazing I hoped into my car and drove home.
