chapter 31

it had been a couple of months since we got Sebastian and it had been amazing, he was such a good kid minus the tantrums he would have when he was tired but that's what they do right but other than that he was lovable cuddled everyone he came across.

with it coming closer to bass's first birthday we had been quite busy finding out what to do, after debating a good bit we decided that maria and bass would have a day out to an aquarium and then we would have a small get together with the Avengers after since if all of the avengers came to the aquarium it would become a disaster I could just see it now people smarming us like sharks it wouldn't be the best thing in the world.

I was sitting at my desk playing cod with the guys for L. A, you remember the people I would hang out with before I came back, whilst bass was having his daytime nap and maria was also napping since she has been sick for the past couple of days and just completely exhausted.

"so let me get this straight Noah you the guy who would sleep with anyone or anything has now settled down with the beautiful women may and you also have an eleven-month-old son, wow mate I have to give it to ya I'm proud" one both the guys, jake said

"Thanks, I appreciate it," I said.

"But you will come down for a week with us right I miss you," Cody said.

"yeh maybe in summer lads," I said.

we had just won a round and I heard maria run from the bed and into the bathroom to vomit.

"ill be back lads," I said and went after her.

"hey, you good," I asked holding her hair back and putting it in a ponytail with the hairband I had on my wrist.

she shook her head. "I think we have to go to the doctors about this," I said and she shook her head again.

" think I know what it is," she said and I looked at her.

"I think I'm pregnant," she said and my eyes went wide.

"have you tested yet"  asked and she shook her head.

I opened the cupboard that was under the sink and grabbed a box of tests.

"let's find out then," I said and she nodded.

 I walked out and let her pee, and I went to check up on bass in the next room since we were able to get him a separate room from us but we were able to be close.

I walked in and saw him standing up hanging onto the top of the crib.

"hey, bud," I said picking him up.

"dada," he said happily.

I walked into our room and threw him on the bed making him laugh his head off. I went over and told the guys I have to go and logged off discord.

I turned around to see maria walking out of the bathroom and sitting down on the bed with the test in her hand. I sat next to her and put bass in my lap since he was trying to get the stick from his mum.

"you know yet," I asked and she nodded.

"2 minutes left," she said.

"good time to change his ass," I said grabbing a clean nappy and wiping up and changing his butt leaving him in his nappy.

just in time, the timer went off.

she looked at me and I gave her a small smile as she flipped it over and just froze. I grabbed it from her hands.

"oh my god," I said a big smile coming across my face. she was pregnant.

I looked at her again and she was crying and I pulled her into my arms as bass went crawling somewhere.

"I hope they're happy tears," I said and she nodded.

"where gonna have a baby," I said standing up with her in my arms.

she looked at me and started to smile.

"we're gonna have a baby," she said. 

and I looked at bass and he was looking at us eating his teething ring.

"we're gonna have another one of those," I said and bass squealed.

"he's gonna be a big brother," she said.

"Hey let's go to the doctor and get a scan," I said and she nodded.

"he has to get some jabs too," I said and she nodded going to get some clothes on.

I grabbed bass from the floor and walked into his room.

"let's get some clothes on you," I said and got him in some joggers and a dinosaur t-shirt.

I ruffled his hair and walked out to see maria in comfy clothes and we walked down to the first aid/ doctors place I don't know.

bruce was in there he looked at us and smiled. "hi I'm guessing you're here for sebs jabs"

"yes sir," I said and stripped seb from his clothes and left him in his nappy.

"so today we only have three for him," Bruce said and put them down on a tray.

I was holding him on his back as bruce sanitised his legs.

"gonna do it all together," Bruce said and I nodded.

bruce did all three jabs and bass was in hysterics he did not like that at all.

I picked him up as he clung to me.

"dadadada," he said crying.

"hey I know all done," I said grabbing him blanket and pacifier trying to calm him down.

"all done," Bruce said.

"hey, bruce can you do us a favour please," Maria asked.

"depending on the favour," he said taking his glasses off.

"are you able to do altra sounds," she asked.

"I'm not sorry but there is someone that does that works here I could go get her," he said and we nodded and he walked out but he stopped and said "congratulations"

bruce came back with a woman and pulled over the ultrasound. "h I'm Sara"

"When did you test positive," she asks.

"Before we came here," Maira said.

"alright did it say how far along you were," she asks.

"oh yeh around 3 months I think it said," Maria said.

"Alright so we will do a standard ultrasound but we might not be able to see the fetus depending on how long you are," she said squirting the gel on her stomach and moving the wind around.

it only took a couple of seconds until she said. "well looks like you are 10 weeks along with a very healthy baby good size and good heartbeat you wanna hear" she asked and we both nodded.

she pressed a button and the heartbeat started and we both looked at the screen in awe.

the noise also caught sebs attention.

"that's your little brother or sister bud," Maria said.

after the exam Sara passed a cloth to maria and said "so with being pregnant I would like to see you every month for a check-up to make sure the baby is nice and healthy and I will email you both details on pregnancy and what are good and not good for the baby"

we nodded and we walked out with the baby pictures in our hands.

for the rest of the day, we spent it in bed watching movies.
