complications - Maria Hill

part 15-paperwork

I woke up the next morning to see that I was on the couch in only my underwear and the Tv blearing some random kiddies show.

is up to see Maria nowhere in sight so I turned the tv off and fell back to sleep not carrying if I had work.

*30 minutes later*

I woke up to another nose but not the TV it was the coffee machine, I sat up and saw Maria in an oversized shirt and hair in a ponytail. as I got closer to her I realised that it was one of my shirts and she had nothing else on except some trainer sock.

"well good morning," I said making her just slightly.

"God you scared me and go put some clothes on please," she said motioning to my boxers and sports bra.

"Sorry love but it looks like somebody took my clothes and I thought you liked me looking like this," I said.

"no I don't know like you walking around the apartment with no clothes on and what are you going to do about your shirt," she said eyebrows raised.

"oh I could do a lot of things" I growled "but we have twenty minutes to get ready and be at work before we are late," I said pointing to the clock on the microwave and walked into the shower to get dressed.

it only took us both ten minutes and be out the door. Maria was wearing her normal, and might I also mention very tight, SHIELD uniform and I was wearing a suit because I can't wear one of the uniforms for reasons.

As we were driving in the car Maria spoke up "this morning what did you mean you'd do a lot of things to me"

"well I would show you but we are late to work and I don't think Fury would be very happy," I said.

"well maybe you can show me tonight," she said oblivious to what I meant.

"oh my god, you so clueless to what I mean wow and then you one of SHIELDs top agents" I laughed.

"What the hell is that supposed to mean," she said.

"think about it over today I'm sure you can use your spy skills to figure it out"  as I said getting out of the parked car and to Buckys room to go see him

I knocked on the door and I heard a small 'come in '

I walked in and saw bucky sat on his bed writing in a notebook.

"hey, bud what you got there," I asked sitting next to him.

"well I had a therapy session not too long ago and she suggested that I should write all of my memories in this book and then try something that I used to like to see if that would trigger something inside," he said pointing to his head.

"well, how is it going it seems you got a lot of stuff in it," I said impressed.

"Yeah some of it is as parts of a memory and I have to piece them together but yeah it is going better than I expected," he said.

"that's great but how about after my shift how bout me and you go get some take out food" I suggested.

"yeah sure," he said.

"alright you carry on with your memory matching and ill be back," I said. and walked out.

When I walking into my office I turned the light in to see the humongous pile of files and paperwork on my desk

'this will be fun' I mumbled to myself as I sat down and got on with it.

*couple hours later*

I had only gotten through half of this paperwork and I don't even know where half of them came from. I heard a knock on my door and I called whoever it was in without looking to see who it was.

after a while, I looked up to see Fury sat in front of me.

"what's up boss," I asked.

"I have a proposition to give you," he said

"and what would-" I said but was cut off by Maria storming into my office and shouting.

"you motherfucker" she said.

"Nice to see you too can you come back later I am quite busy," I said sarcastically.

"I know what you meant earlier asshole," she said.

"well took you long enough does that still mean you want me to show you what I meant," I said smugly.

"you bitch" she said and stormed out.

I turned back to Fury with a smirk but he seemed unbothered by the whole scene.

"what in the world did you say to that poor girl," he asked.

"noting bad don't worry bout it just some harmless teasing" I laughed.

"Anyway I wanted to say was that I was thinking of building a compound for the avengers I mean it has been in pay for a couple of weeks but when it is finished we would like The Avengers to move in there full time well most of them to like solve the crime and that and what I would like you to hopefully do is manage them like help them settle in show them the rules help them in any way possible and when I mean help I sort of mean make it as comfortable as possible for them because I mean we have some very whats the word mentally unstable people in this group so if they need room to help them calm of and strategies to help the f that makes sense," he said.

"so you want me to be their full-time babysitters," I said. 

"yes and no you will have Hill to help you of course," he said.

"I will do it when it happens,"  I said.

"good because I would like you to tell them and Maria the hopefully gonna happen plan and all that jazz also make sure Mr Barnes is there too," Fury said walking out before I could even comprehend what h just said.

'great that is all I need' i said to myself picking up my phone to make a bunch of calls to get this meeting sorted.
