complications - Maria Hill

chapter 5- first mission

I was racing to HQ when I got the call from Fury I had my first mission.

I don't know anything well because you know don't trust anyone but the only thing I know is that I won't be in America for a bit.

I opened the door to Fury's office to see Hill, Fury and Coulson all sitting at Fury's desk.

"Nova comes in," he said. motioning me to sit next to hill.

"what's with this mission," I asked.

"well you will be going on a solo mission in Mexico there has been a lot of trouble going around about some illegal things," he said.

"and you picked me because..." I said.

"well I know you like you car racing well illegal car racing and the gang that has been causing this unsettlement for the government is a car racing gang would you say," he said.

"ahh I have been waiting to do a race again I would happily accept Fury," I said putting my feet up on a side table.

"good you leave in three hours Hill will help you get ready here is your file get out my face and I will see you in well however long it takes," he said handing me a file and waving me off.

I left my office stood beside Coulson and Hill.

"well isn't a pirate man in a good mood today," I said sarcastically.

"well I wouldn't be surprised he has a lot on his plate right now," Coulson said.

"what could be that hard for him he doesn't do out he has Maria do all of his work," I said.

"you know I am right here," she said.

"yeah sorry, hot stuff but it's the truth" I exclaimed.

"I am guessing you didn't hear about some people finding Captain Steve Rogers," Coulson said.

"wait what didn't he die like 70 years ago or something and why are people so bothered about finding his corpse," I said.

"oh, you haven't been told anything have you" Coulson sighed.

"no phi I haven't clearly," I said.

"he's alive Nova they found a pulse and are defrosting him or well did there waiting for him to wake up," Hill said.

"What did they put him in the microwave and put it on defrost settings and how in the world did he survive that," I said.

"There is no time for joke McKenzie no they didnt put him in the one wave and no one knows how he survived it's most think its the serum running through his veins," Maria said leading to the garage.

"wow well, Phil looks like you can get them collection cards finally signed" I laughed.

"I was waiting for that t come up," he said stopping in front of Maria's car.

"see you in a while Phil don't get lonely whilst I am gone" I joked.

"yeh, and dot gets killed no-one will be able to keep bossy pant over there of my ass" pointing to Maria who was putting things in the boot of the car.

"I hope you aren't talking about me," she said getting in the car.

I got into the car after goodbye and we drove to the airport to go to Mexico

we had arrived at the airport and we were stood outside a fancy private jet which fitted my character of being rich and have a massive ego so basically, I was acting like Tony Stark.

"you ready to go," Maria said.

"yeah," I said.

"don't miss me too much they'll come back," I said.

"why would you say that," she asked.

"well you have a look showing that says you thin I'm got gonna come back," I said.

"Why are you so good at this expression reading thing I don't like it" she laughed.

"well I have had yours of practice Doll," I said which she looked shocked at the last word "what," I asked

"Doll that nickname is a new one," she said.

"well, the nickname suits you" I smirked.

"be safe, okay I don't know if I can handle both Coulson and Fury on my own again," she said getting serious.

"don't worry I will always," I said.

I got on to the plane ready to start my first mission since well the accident what could go wrong right?

HELLO EVERYONE HOPE YOU ENJOYED IT.

JUST TO LET YOU KNW THIS BOOK PROBABLY WON'T HAVE THE MOVIES IN IT LIKE THE EVENTS BUT WILL HAVE THE CHARACTERS JOIN AT THE RIGHT TIME IN A DIFFERENT MANNER. BUT SOME MORE OUT OF THE MARVEL TIMELINE THAN OTHERS.
