it was a couple of hours later ad everyone had gone to bed whilst I was still sat watching the surgery they had gotten his armour and took the nasty skin of his arm and rapped it to keep it from getting infected.

"hey," Tony said walking into the room that was in.

"he gonna be ok," I asked

"he is going to be fine a bit grumpy but fine," he said.

"Thanks, Tony," I said.

"no problem what you going to do about his arm," he asked.

"I made a call to an old friend," I said.

"okay well Barnes will need constant care like meds need to be taken at a certain time and his bandages need changing you know they just," he said.

"yeah I am going to persuade Fury to have him stay with me and Maria," I said.

"good luck with that anyway he is gonna wake up soon," he said walking out the room.

I decided to see Fury before Bucky wakes up.

I knock on his door and heard a small come in 

"hello nova how is Mr Barnes," he asked.

"buckys alright just finished but still out as a light," I said.

"what you need," he asked.

"I want bucky to stay with me during the healing process he needs to feel loved and safe and that can't happen when he is surrounded by people who treat him like a criminal," I said.

"I will think about it but tonight he can stay with you go take Mr Barnes home," he said.

and I thanked him and walked out to go get bucky I walked into the room and saw him sat up in the hospital room looking around him confused and was trying to take the IV out of his teeth.

I walk over "no no no don't do that" I said taking his mouth away from his arm.

he looked up at me like a lost puppy "nova?"

"yeah, buck," I asked.

"where is my arm," he asked.

we had to take it off because it wasn't doing your shoulder any good and making it irritating.

"will I get another," he asked.

"yes you will I made a call with a friend and she is making a very special one for you we just have to wait for your arm to heal for a couple of weeks then bam you will have two arms," I said.

"what happens now I lashed out... are they gonna take me back to the hydra. I can't go back ... I don't wanna go back... please" he said panicking.

"hey wow wow you are never going back to hydra never I won't let that happen promise," I said.

"what is going to happen is that you and me we are going to go back to my place and we are going to get you healed up," I said.

"wait the pirate let that happen I thought I am too dangerous," he asked confused and I chuckled at the nickname.

"well he hasn't decided yet but whilst you are healing you are staying with me but you might be living with me full time because this place isn't good for you, being isolated and all that stuff," I said.

"Will you be moving into the compound when it is ready," he asked.

"I haven't fully decided but I think so it will make it easier on everyone," I said.

"Okay," he said.

"you ready to go home," I said.

"what about my stuff," he asked getting off the hospital bed

"oh fury has already gotten some agents to put all your stuff in my car," I said. "oh and also you have too in this wheelchair seems as though you just got out of surgery"

"Really?" he said not wanting to get in the chair.

"oh yeah," I said and he sat in the chair and I wheeled him out of the room.

once we got to the car I helped him in the passenger side and put the wheelchair in the [ack pf car and got into the driver's side and drove home.

around halfway through the drive, I looked over to bucky and said "you want to get Mcdonald"

he looked at me and nodded.
