Shawn checked his phone while walking into the building, making his way to Camila’s dorm on the thirteenth floor. The lobby and the elevators were all decorated with pumpkins, ghosts and spider-webs, fake blood all over the place while students passed by him in all types of Halloween costumes. All of their friends were going out to party together, but Shawn and Camila had other plans. His father’s record label held a huge Halloween party every year and he was always forced to go. He would always just show up for half an hour and disappear after he found a girl to spend his night with, but this year was different. He invited Camila to go with him and she seemed really excited about it. He could tell how happier she seemed after they stopped hiding from everyone what was happening between them, so of course he thought showing her off to all those boring executives would make not only his night a lot easier, but it would show her that he cares.
He looked at his costume at the elevator’s mirror, one Camila had helped him choose. He didn’t usually put much effort in these kinds of things, but she insisted he had to at least match her somehow. He still went for one that was quite simple, going for black pants and a black tuxedo with a red satin shirt underneath it, completing his looks with black boots and a red cape over his back. He was a vampire, but he opted for not getting fake fangs, after all, he was planning on kissing her the whole night and that would only get in the way. She had been excited when they chose his costume, but he still didn’t know what hers was. She didn’t let him see it, only telling him it would match his. It was actually really funny and cute how excited about Halloween she was, it actually made him like this holiday for once.
Shawn walks out of the elevator on her floor and makes his way to her dorm, knocking on the door and waiting for a while before he hears someone yelling at him to wait. Someone finally opens the door for him and is a red-haired girl, Mia if he recalls right, one of the other girls who share the dorm with Camila and Hailee. She had a "little mermaid" costume on and didn’t seem too happy to be opening the door to him.
“ She told you to wait in here.” She said when Shawn walked into their common area, disappearing into her room seconds after without giving him a chance to say anything. He waited for around five minutes before Camila walked out of her bedroom with a huge smile on her face.
Shawn stood up from the couch and looked at her in shock before whistling and clapping, making her blush and laugh. Camila had a long partly see-through black dress with puff sleeves, a red corset over it, accentuating her cleavage in a way he knew it was going to haunt him all night long. Her ass was looking fantastic in that dress too, but to be honest, he ass always looked good. Her hair was half up, half down, complimenting the dark make-up in her eyes and her perfectly heart-shaped red lips. The final touches were a necklace that went straight between her two breasts, making his mind go places, and a slit showing one of her legs with black stiletto heels on her feet. It was pretty clear she was also a vampire, but a sexy one.
“ Fuck!” He laughed, taking one of her hands and spinning her so he could take a better look at her.
“ Do you like it?” She asked shyly.
“ Do I like it?” He asked teasingly. “ I fucking love it!”
“ You look good too.” She smiles, placing a quick kiss on his lips.
“ You don’t look just good, Camila.” Shawn says as she opens the door for them to leave. “ You look really hot. I’m not even sure I’ll be able to keep my hands off you the whole night.”
“ Stop.” She giggled, blushing and looking away from him as they waited for the elevator.
The ride to the record label was long because the traffic was insane, so Shawn found himself staring at the slit on her dress and her cleavage countless times when she was talking. She noticed it of course, and kept laughing and sometimes even doing things on purpose because she knew he was looking. He couldn’t wait to have her alone after that damn party.
When they finally arrived, the party was filled by people in classy costumes and drinks in their hands. The same thing he has seen several times, but this time he didn’t feel the need to go home right away. Camila was next to him, their hands linked as they walked in and watched the beautiful decorations. He wasn't exaggerating about Camila’s costume, a lot of people turned their heads to watch her and he wanted to tell off all those old men clearly looking at her body.
“ Shawn! You’re finally here.” He heard his father’s voice and sighed, feeling Camila squeezing his hand before they walked to meet him.
“ Hey, dad.” Shawn says without a smile as they reach a group of more old men in suits and poor attempts to look like they had a Halloween costume on. He shook all the men’s hands like he knew he father wanted him to, never letting his other hand leave Camila’s hold.
“ I see you brought someone with you this year.” One of the men said, making Shawn immediately let go of her hand and place his arm around her waist.
“ This is Camila.” Shawn said, only because his father was looking like he was waiting for an introduction as well. His father clearly remembered Camila from when he went to his apartment and she was sleeping on his bed, so he looked at Shawn like he didn’t recognize his own son. It didn’t look like Shawn to bring a girl with him to these parties and it definitely didn’t look like him to be involved with the same girl for such a long time. That wasn’t a secret to anyone and his father seemed pretty surprised. “ Excuse us now.”
Shawn guided Camila away from the group, hating how all those men were looking at her. One more reason for him not to leave her side for even a second during the night. They eventually got served a few drinks, no one seemed to care if they were under twenty-one, but he made sure neither of them drank too much. He had plans for when they got back to his apartment and he needed her to be sober for that.
