Waking up with a horrible headache and her hair glued to her face, Camila opens her eyes and groans, realizing she slept with her contacts on. She’s on a huge comfortable bed by herself with her clothes from the previous night still on, which she sighs in relief when she notices. She spots her purse on the floor next to the bed, and reaches for it before standing and finding a bathroom. She quickly removes her contacts and replaces them with her glasses that she made sure to put on her purse. She pulls her hair up into a bun and tries to fix her makeup the best she can so she doesn’t look like shit.
When she leaves the bathroom, she hears a faint sound of music coming from out of the bedroom she’s in. She walks closer to the door and opens it slowly, recognizing the sound of a piano. Someone is playing it, and amazingly good by the way. She had noticed the piano standing in the living room the night before, but it wasn’t until now that she gave it her full attention. Shawn was sitting down, playing a beautiful melody with his curls all over the place and no shirt in sight. He looked so beautiful and Camila suddenly remembered the events of the night before. Nothing happened. He didn’t even try to kiss her, but they laughed and danced together almost the whole night.
“ Good morning, little freshman.” His voice makes her realize he stopped playing the piano and is now looking at her with a smile. “ Do you want some aspirin? I bet you have quite the headache right now.”
Camila follows him to the kitchen and takes the aspirin with a glass of water as he analyzes her. She wouldn’t take him as the quiet type, but he seemed like that now that she thought about it.
“ How are you okay? You drank a lot more than I did.”
“ Practice I guess.” He shrugs. “ I also drank a lot of water between my shots last night. Didn’t want to feel like crap in the morning.”
“ Like I do.” Camila laughs.
“ Exactly.” He confirms.
“ Do you remember anything from last night?” She asks curiously, just to make sure she wasn’t blocking anything important from her memory.
“ No, we didn’t have sex.” He tells her, making her instantly blush. “ I slept on the couch.”
Camila sighs in relief, wanting to thank him but thinking that might be awkward. A lot of guys would have taken advantage of her in a situation like that, but he didn’t. He was definitely not what she was expecting after Taylor and Charli’s description of him.
“ Where is everyone?” Camila asks, remembering her new friends.
“ Taylor and Joe are in the guest room down the hallway.” Shawn informs her. “ Charli and Ash left way before you got drunk and Hailee left with Niall last night.”
Camila looks up with a worried expression in her eyes.
“ Don’t worry, she wasn't drunk at all when they left, and she’s in good hands. Niall is a nice guy.” Camila nods her head, but it's pretty clear she’s still worried. “ Hey, I swear I’m not lying to you. Taylor was watching you two closely last night, she would have never let Hailee leave with Niall if she thought she was in some kind of danger.”
“ Okay. I believe you.” Camila says with a smile. She’s not sure why, but she does believe him.
“ I have to leave in twenty minutes for a class.” Shawn tells her as he pours coffee in two mugs for them. “ Do you want a ride back to campus?”
“ If that’s not too much.” Camila says shyly as he hands her the coffee.
“ Not at all.” He smiles at her. “ It’s my pleasure, little freshman.”
“ I have a name, you know.” She tells him and he looks at her in amusement.
“ I know you have a name, Camila.” He grins at her playfully. “ But what’s the fun in that?”
Camila looks down as her face flushes and her lips from a smile, trying not to make it obvious that she did kind of like the nickname.
“ You look cute in glasses by the way.” He adds before walking out of the kitchen.

Camila walks into class five minutes late, but the professor doesn't even look at her. Shawn drove her to her dorm and she took a shower and changed clothes before running to her first class of the day. She finds a seat next to Hailee, who she didn’t expect to be there, but she is.
“ Morning.” Camila whispers as she sits down.
“ Morning, party girl.” Hailee smirks at her. “ Had too much fun last night?”
“ What is that supposed to mean?” Camila whispers back as she starts taking notes on what the teacher is writing on the board. “ You’re the one who left with Niall.”
“ Fair enough.” Hailee says. “ My night was amazing if that’s what you’re asking.”
“ Good.” Camila tries not to laugh.
They stay in silence for a moment, paying attention to class before Hailee looks at her again.
“ What about Shawn?” Her friend asks quietly.
“ What about him?”
“ Come on, you two were all over each other last night.” Hailee says. “ I hope you didn’t do that just to prove something to yourself.”
“ What? No, of course not.” Camila says, looking back at Hailee. “ Nothing happened, Hailee. We just danced and drank. Then I fell asleep in his bed while he was on the couch. He gave me a ride to the dorm this morning, that’s all.”
“ That’s good. You deserve to have some fun.” Hailee smiles. “ But that does look like a lot, coming from a guy who has the reputation he does with girls, if he had no intention of sleeping with you.”
“ Like Taylor said, he’s a really nice guy.” Camila defends him.
“ Sure.” Hailee smirks at her while Camila looks back at the teacher and tries to ignore the ideas her friend is putting in her mind.
