Secrets Exposed

During the weekend, Alya accompanied Marinette when Adrien was at a photoshoot. She kept asking Mari for more details about what had happened between them.

"Mari pleeeeease. I'm begging you for details!"

"Alya, stop it. All that happened is that when I ran out of the room I had a flashback and Adrien found me and helped shake myself out of it."

"You never told me what happened during detention. Girl please!"

"I told you! We just did our work!" She only told Nino about what really happened.

"Girl, something happened. There has been tension between you two in class every day since then."

"Fine! I'll tell you if that'll make you stop pestering me." She raised her voice in a very harsh tone.

"I'm sorry Mari, you know I hate secrets."

"That doesn't mean you can pester me about it until I tell you! I would have told you sooner if you didn't pester me!"

"I'm sorry okay!" Alya started crying.

"I'm sorry Al, I didn't mean to yell." She ran over to her friend.

"It's okay Mari, I understand I was a pain  in the ass about it." She felt bad about pestering her.

"I wanted to tell you this a long time ago, but I was so scared of what you'd think of me after I told you."

"It's okay Mari. I understand."

"So after my mini-episode that day he comforted me and for some reason, I felt safe with him. During  detention, I felt an urge to kiss him, and then I did. . After that we started seeing each other and I got to really know him."

"Wait, did you... Y'know with him?"

"Actually no we haven't. I... I've been too scared and asked to stop every time we did get a little bit close. I feel like I just keep disappointing him."

"Oh Mari, you've done it before. How come you're so scared?"

"I don't really know. He keeps saying it's fine but I don't know if it really is."

"It probably is fine Mari, and you're just overthinking it." Alya's phone rang and she answered it.

"Oh it's Nino, we have our date."

"Ooo go have fun Al!" She watched as her friend went down the trapdoor and left her alone. She hated being alone, her paranoia and the fear of Luka coming up her trapdoor slowly crept up into her mind. To take her mind off of it she went up to her roof and saw Chat running around on the rooftops. 'Hm I should go join him' she thought.

"Tikki, Spots On!" she says as she transforms on her balcony because that was obviously the best place to transform.

"Hey Chat."

"Ladybug?"

"What's up?"

"I just wanted out of my house."

"Me too. There's some memories there that I want to ignore, I don't want to be alone. My friend had to leave for a date and..." She wasn't sure how to finish that sentence without more about her personal life.

"Well, then I'll keep you company."

"I'll do the same."

"So LB, what happened?"

"Oh-I doesn't know Chat, I'm not comfortable with saying it out loud." He wondered what she was talking about, but didn't ask. After all, he was here to hear her out.
