**TW This whole chapter is pretty much all flashbacks of Marinette's past. Remember this is a story that holds mature themes and real-life situations. I am in no way glorifying anything in this chapter. I'm putting in my own experiences and trauma. This was a chapter that I needed to write for myself so please do not come for me and if you don't like it then just skip this chapter. This chapter isn't super important so you can skip it but you will miss out on the stuff after the flashbacks. I will be putting warnings beside each flashback and I will show you where the last flashback ends in case you just want to read the ending.**(poor Emma-Wiktoria)(I had 4 people read this chapter beforehand to see if I should post this chapter and they all said yes, so here you guys go.-Emma)

The next morning.

Adrien woke up pretty early and saw that his princess wasn't in her room. He looked around but she was nowhere. He went to her roof to transform but he saw her standing there, leaning on the railing.

"Princess?" He called out but it looked like she ignored him. He walked up behind her and hugged her. That's when he heard her sniffle.

"What's wrong princess?" He whispered in her ear.

"N-Nothing, I was getting fresh air." He knew that was a lie.

"Look at me." She pulled her hands off the rail and turned around to hug him. She didn't want him to see her face.

"Mari... What's wrong? Please talk to me." She looked up into his eyes and relaxed a little.

"It was just a nightmare."

"Oh Mari, is it about what happened?" She nodded her head and held him even tighter.

"How long?"

"Kind of since it started." She couldn't hold back crying anymore. She knew that he'd blame himself.

"Is it because of m-"

"No, don't you dare say that! If anything you have made them better! So don't blame yourself for something that you didn't do!" If he wasn't here she would have gone back to her ways of coping. The unhealthy ways. Starving herself, picking at her skin, and the constant self-badgering words that she silently called herself. She had found other ways so that no one would notice because people would notice scars easily.

"A-Adrien I-I" He wrapped his arms around her as her legs gave out. She was so tired of these nightmares and wished that they would stop. She was tired of all these flashbacks constantly haunting her but she couldn't do anything to make them stop.

"Do you want to talk about them?" She knew that if she talked about them then she wouldn't be able to go to school. They were too much to try and pack in before he had to go home before either of them would be caught.

"Tonight?" He didn't want to wait until tonight but knew that it was too serious to handle right before they had to go to school.

"Okay, tonight it is." She looked up into his eyes and he looked back into hers that were filled with tears. She didn't know what to do anymore about the nightmares. She's never told anyone that she gets them.

"I have to go home but I will see you in a couple of hours okay. Please don't do anything that would hurt you." He knew that when she had issues with dealing with trauma she would resort to other things.

"I won't try to." He cupped his hand under her chin and pressed a kiss to her lips.

"Please M'Lady." She knew that he didn't want her to do anything stupid and for once she didn't want to do anything.

"Okay, I won't. I promise." He gave her a slight smile before calling out his transformation. He gave her one last kiss before heading off back to his house.
