The New Life

The minute they got in the shower his lips crashed into hers. She was so tired and exhausted from the day that she just collapsed.

"Mari!" He caught her and looked into her eyes as she looked back into his.

"I guess I didn't realize how tired I was."

"Here, you sit and I will wash you okay?" She nodded and sat on the ground. Adrien grabbed her bottle of shampoo and started massaging it into her hair. Making sure to get out anything that was in her hair. He helped her move back into the water stream so that he could get all the soap out of her hair. Once he was finished with that he moved her back out of the water and started combing through her hair with conditioner. He took a quick glance at her face and saw that she was turning pale again.

"I'm just a tad bit nauseous. Don't worry, I won't puke." She could see the worry in his face.

"I don't care if you do Mari. Please don't hold back anything, it just makes it worse."

"But it's gross."

"Shush, I don't care." She just nodded and went back to looking at the water droplets as he continued to comb through her hair. Watching the droplets fall made her forget about the nauseousness and soon enough it was completely gone as he moved her to rinse out the conditioner.

Once he was done he helped her up back onto her feet. While she stepped out and dried herself he quickly washed his own hair. By the time he was done she was already starting to blow dry her hair as she hates getting dressed or going to bed with wet hair. Just as they finished getting dressed they heard loud noises outside.

"Oh great. Akuma" Marinette started to internally panic. What would she do? Before she could think of anything else her mom ran into the room and grabbed her.

"Mama! Let me go!" She mouthed to Adrien to just go. He knew she'd think of something.

"No Marinette. You already lost your first baby due to an akuma. I'm not letting that happen again."

"No Mama. I need to go out there. I'll be careful."

"Why do you need to be out there? I am not letting you out of my sight." Mari just looked over and saw Tikki. She just nodded at her, giving her permission to tell her mom.

"Because I'm- Adrien needs me, I need to be out there Mama. I'm going to talk to him now to figure this out." Her mom just stood there shocked. Mari took this as an opportunity to leave. She knew Tikki was okay with her telling her mom but she just couldn't.

"Watch over Owen for me Mama!" She yelled out as she ran towards an alley to transform. She would go to Fu after the battle.

"Chat? I-I don't know if I can fight. I need to talk to Fu." The minute she got next to Chat with the Akuma she got terrified.

"Go, it's okay." She nodded and headed towards Fu's place, forgetting to detransform.

"Master, I-I can't fight as Ladybug anymore. At least for a while." She was out of breath and looked to see that his face was full of shock.

"What! Why not?" He sounded sort of angry.

"Because I'm pregnant." He just opened his mouth and stood there completely shocked.

"I can't fight because I already miscarried due to an akuma attack and I'm not letting that happen again."

"Wait what?"

"Um yeah. A couple months ago there were two akumas in one day and I didn't know I was expecting at the time so when I was hit, which I was hit hard, it caused me to miscarry."
