Time used to move slowly for the two heroes. It felt as if their life was in slow motion. They no longer felt the need to protect Paris anymore, as the world had been at a standstill for months on end with nothing ever happening. They always kept their eyes out just in case something ever happened. Marinette had begun to pack everything up from her house with Adrien to move, as their house had gotten destroyed in the last attack that had occured. For a while they had just been staying at her parents place while they waited to find a new house that could fit both of them as well as their baby on the way, which is due within the next few days. There were still a few journal entries that Mari still needed to read but she would be doing that on her own time with Adrien when she was ready to read them again. As the last one sent her into a panic attack that almost cost them their babies life. They weren't sure if they were ready to be parents yet but they didn't have much of a choice now. The past year has been crazy for these teens and it will only continue to get crazier as they grow.

"Marinette! It's almost time to leave, everything is packed into the cars." Adrien yelled as Marinette was trying to get up off the couch. Moving was even hard for her to do so she had gotten her friends to come over to help do everyday tasks whenever Adrien wasn't around.

"I'm as slow as a turtle Adrien, it'll take me time to get down there!" She yelled back. She rolled her eyes before getting up off the couch and waddling her way down the stairs to Adrien. She was waiting for the day she finally had this baby out of her.

By the time she had gotten into the car she was already exhausted. They had a short drive ahead of them so there wasn't a point in trying to take a nap as they would be getting out of the car right away. They were only going to the other side of town since it was even closer to the school they wanted to go too. Marinette's parents followed closely in their own car with the rest of their things for their house. Since everything didn't fit into one single car. By the time they had gotten to their new place Marinette had fallen asleep, since she isn't able to stay awake very easily anymore. Adrien had left her in the car while they brought everything into the house, since the beds weren't ready yet.

Once they had gotten a couch into the house Adrien had carried Mari into the house and placed her onto one of the couches, covering her with a blanket while the others kept bringing things into the house. It took a couple hours but by the end of it everything was set up due to everyone stepping in to help. They wanted to let Mari sleep as much as she could since once the baby is born she will need her strength.

Everyone said their goodbyes to Adrien and once they had all left he laid down behind her on the couch and fell asleep as well. This was a long day for everyone.

The Next Morning...

Marinette woke up to a sleeping Adrien behind her, confused as to how she got to where she was.

"Adrien? When did I get here?" Adrien grumbles before getting up as well to see that they slept the whole night on the couch when they had their bed ready.

"The couch was the first thing ready while you were sleeping so I put you here. I guess I ended up falling asleep here too." He giggles while she just stares at him.

"You mean, you guys did everything while I was sleeping? Why did no one wake me?"

"You need your rest Mari, it wasn't that big of a deal so don't worry about it." She nodded before getting up to wander the house. She walked into their new bedroom and saw the journal on the bedside table. She didn't notice how long she was staring at it until Adrien walked up behind her asking her what she was doing.

"Mari? Everything okay?"

"Oh yeah sorry I guess I just zoned out for a little bit there." She shook her head before walking past Adrien to find the bathrooms. She was only 3 days away from her due date so they were getting pretty anxious about everything.
