A Fight To Remember

A/N: The next two chapters will have a heavy and sad scene. I don't want to give it out yet but there will be a warning. I know I've put Mari through so much but there is a reason I promise! So just stick it out and if you want just skip the part but it is a major part of the story so you might not want to skip it. I don't know, I can't tell you what to do.

Month and a half later.

Marinette woke up earlier than normal. It was the first day of February meaning she'd have to deal with all the dumbasses who came up to her. Maybe with Adrien they'd all leave her alone. Since she had more time in the morning she went to go take a shower. Due to their semester break it was already Friday.

"Marinette! Alya is here." She heard her mother call up as she walked out of the shower, already dressed.

"Hey Al!" She was glad that they sorta fixed their friendship but they still weren't how they used to be. As she was talking out she felt a small shooting pain in her side. Her hand flew to the spot and Alya could see that she was in pain.

"Are you okay Mari?"

"Yeah, Yeah. I messed up my birth control stuff. I forgot it a couple times."

"Haha girl you're getting cramps again!" Mari gave Alya a glare and they both laughed. After a few minutes Mari was back to normal and the two girls walked out of the room.

"I think there's something she isn't telling us, Sabine."

"No, I was like this when I forgot, remember?" He nodded and walked out of the room. He still had his own thoughts in his head. He knew what his daughter would be doing and she's been acting strange again.

When they got to school Nino and Adrien were already waiting for them at the front steps.

"What took you guys so long?"

"I was in pain, sorry." Adrien cocked his head to the side and Mari gave him a look of 'I'll tell you later'.

"No you're telling me now." He grabbed her hand and pulled her away from the others.

"What's wrong with her?"

"Her birth control is fucked up so she's getting cramps. This is too funny to watch."

"Yeah, bye I'm out." Nino put up his hands and turned away from Alya, walking into the school.

"You asked babe!" She called out following him.

Mari kept trying to get him to let go but he wouldn't.

"Adrien really? I can tell you later!"

"Mari you know I'll think about this all day until you do." She knew that he was right. She'd do the same thing but she was scared to tell him that she'd messed up her birth control. They've never used protection so she's pretty scared but she hasn't gotten any symptoms.

"I- uh- Can we talk about this later?"

"Mari, just tell me." She felt a pain on her side again and tried to not let it show.

"Mari?"

"It's just a cramp, sorry. I kinda messed up with the whole birth control thing so now I'm getting phantom periods and it's annoying." (MmMHhHMMm- SANVI)

"Mari, are you sure that you're not p-"

"No I'm not. I've already done a test again because I was scared."  That was a lie and Adrien could tell because she wouldn't make eye contact.

"Mari, you're doing one after school. Please?"

"Adrien why-"

"You know why." She groaned and walked away.
