Nightmares

2 Weeks Later

Her concussion was finally better to the point where she didn't get dizzy spells anymore. Her head still throbbed when excess activity was applied. Most of her cuts were mostly healed over. She still had some of her bruises but they were almost faded. Thankfully no one had questioned her about the whole thing and she told Alya almost everything, excluding the superhero details. Alya felt terrible that she made her friend want to leave her room and walk outside alone, while she was still really weak. Marinette kept telling her that it wasn't Alya's fault that someone jumped her. Now Marinette was never allowed outside alone ever again. It was a rule that her parents had set to keep her safe. She hated the fact she couldn't be alone outside but knew it was safer if she was with someone.

One night, while everyone was asleep Sandboy, had come. Both superheroes were scared of the other akumatized selves. They've never been akumatized before but they are both terrified of what would happen.

"The Sandboy has checked in, now nightmares can begin." Sandboy was heard across the city while sparkling dust sprinkled across the city, causing people's nightmares to be turned into reality. Both Marinette and Adrien were already out on patrol when they saw Sandboy.

"Great. My nightmares will come true." Both of the teens said at the same time.

"Let's go deal with him, don't get hit by the dust." Ladybug yelled out while zipping off on her yoyo. Chat soon followed behind her.

"Well well well, Someone had a bad dream." Chat smirked while making his witty remark. Ladybug just rolled her eyes at him.

"What? I thought it was pretty funny." Both her and Chat knew that they couldn't change how they acted towards each other. If they wanted to be seen as a couple then it could only be seen as their civilian selves, at least until it has been enough time since they announced that Mari and Adrien were dating. It has been at least just over a month since they announced that they have been dating, not including before they announced it.

While they were fighting Ladybug got knocked back into a tree and was hit by the dust.

"Ladybug, you good?" He tried to not show too much care in his voice.

"Yeah I'm good." After she got up she saw someone in a white catsuit.

"Chat Blanc." She whispered. It was what both her and Chat named their akumatized selves. Just then Chat was knocked back by Sandboys staff and was blasted with dust.

"Hello. Kitty." It was Ladybug's akumatized self.

"I'm assuming that's Antibug?" Ladybug started.

"Yep." They didn't want to fight themselves but knew they had no choice. The two ran towards their fears ready to defeat themselves.

"Well, I think it's about time we crush these guys ain't it?" Antibug started.

"Read my mind." Chat Blanc turned to face the two heroes. They both stared at each other in shock. This was their biggest nightmare and somehow Sandboy made them worse. The dark forms of themselves looked at each other and internally made a plan. They both disappeared out of sight.

"Uhh where did they go bugaboo?"

"I don't know but watch your ba-" Before she could finish they were flanked from behind. Chat was able to catch himself but since Ladybug still wasn't fully healed yet she couldn't stop herself from falling. Chat jumped towards her and caught her before she hit the ground.
