The next morning

Marinette woke up and felt Adrien still pressed up against her back. She looked over to his side table and saw her phone sitting there. She reached out for it and saw a couple messages from Alya and her mom. It was just Alya making sure that they got home safe.

<Mari> Sorry Al, yeah we got back safe. We went to bed pretty fast.

<Alya> All good, What'd you guys do?

<Mari> Bye Al, talk to you later.

She wasn't in the mood to talk about it right now. That was just for her and Adrien to know.

She opened her messages with her mom to see that she texted her asking how the party went and where she was.

<Mari> Sorry Mama. It went pretty good, one little incident but I handled it. We were pretty tired so we went to Adriens place as it was closer.

<Sabine> Okay, hope you had fun otherwise.

<Mari> I did. I'll talk to you later Mama.

She put her phone back down and turned around to face him. He was still asleep so she just nuzzled her face onto his chest.

"Good morning." She could never miss his morning voice. She loved it in every way.

"Morning Kitty." She kissed his cheek and got up to go get ready for the day. When she came back out of the bathroom she saw that he was still in bed.

"Wake up sleepy head!"

"Mari really?"

"Yep, Alya and Nino are coming to get us. We're going to have a girls day/ mans day. We'll all walk downtown but then go our separate ways. It's the first day of May, meaning first day of summer break."

"Fine I'm getting up." He thought that this was the perfect plan to get Nino alone. He knew Nino would be the best person to ask this, other than Tom. He got up and walked over to Mari, giving her a glare. She just laughed at him and walked over to her dresser to get out an outfit for the day.

Adrien finshed getting ready right as Alya got there wth Nino.

"Hey guys. Adriens coming down. Someone didn't want to get up this morning." The three just laughed as Adrien walked down the stairs.

"Maybe you should have told me sooner." Mari just shrugged her shoulders and the four walked outside to Alyas car. They drove to the base of Main Street and split off their own ways.

Adriens POV

When we got there Nino and I took one side of the street while the two girls took the other side.

"Nino I have a place I want to go but we'll get there when we do."

"Yeah sure, what's the place?"

"Well this is what I wanted to talk to you about. You've known Mari longer than I have." I think Nino already knew what I was going to say because his face just lit up. I needed a way to phrase this in a way that he could understand. I would need his help planning this whole thing out, and at some point I would need Alya in on this.

"Okay?"

Here I go, the question I was more or less scared to ask.

"It's a jewelry store." Nino just grabbed my arm and dragged me down the street. I tried to protest but it didn't work out at planned. He just ignored me and just kept dragging me down the street. When we got there he just stopped.
