Two months later...
"Babe my jeans aren't fitting me!" I whine struggling to get my jeans past my thighs.
"Then get something else to wear!" He yells typing away in his laptop, probably work.
"I have nothing that matches this top!" I said peering into the bedroom through the closet door.
"Then change the god damn top!" He says his voice booming and I cringe.
"Don't yell at me!" I scream annoyed.
I change into a short black dress shirt pairing it with my black flats and handbag. I style my hair and apply minimum makeup as Theo annoyingly taps on his laptop.
I let out a groan and for once he looks at me.
"You are not wearing that." He states calmly.
"Watch me." I retort walking out of the room. I make it downstairs before he catches up with me.
"Am serious Kaylee, I let you go out today because Mia begged me to let you have a girls' day out. Don't make me change my decision." He warns and I roll my eyes.
"Do that again and I might consider punishing you." He warns again.
"Theo, I am going. I'll be back before seven." I say kissing his cheek and turn to leave only to be pulled back into his hard chest.
"Give me a proper kiss, my love." He demands and I stand on my tippy toes to meet his lips.
I pull away from the kiss, panting. Mia will kill me for being late.
"I love you." He whispers.
"I love you more babe," I tell him before getting into the car, and Clint, our driver proceeds to the mall.
I smile as he pulls from our mansion remembering the first time Theo's realtor showed us this place. I fell in love at the sight of it. We had some renovations done since the house was really old. Looking at it now, it's all fancy and classy. My favorite part of the estate is the pool and the garden.
Since Theo refuses to let me out of the estate I spend most of my time in the garden painting, reading books from the library we have, or sleeping. Sometimes I spend time sunbathing by the pool or cooking which has become my strong point of late. I am not doing any of the above, I am either in the gym working out or chatting with my friends and scrolling through my socials.
My pregnancy is going smoothly, five months now and my belly is so huge. Amelia teases that by the time I'm nine months I would be the size of a whale which makes me work out harder not to get out of shape.
Today is my first time going on a girls' day out since we bought the mansion.
Hazel has been busy with work and her online classes. I haven't seen her in a week since she dropped by our house with Colin. Turns out Hazel wasn't pregnant, she just had a stomach bug at the time. I knew she was sad about it but she brushed it off saying she isn't ready for that.
Mia has been busy with her fashion line launching soon, her upcoming fashion show, with Ryan, and her Business administration course she's pursuing. She and Ryan moved into an apartment in town as Ryan got a job at the Crawford company.
Lyn has been busy with school pursuing her law degree. She has been studying for her bar exam. Neil asked her out which she said yes, from then they have been lovers. They live together now but when her mother visits, she kicks Neil out to go spend the night with one of his friends. Yes, I know, but who am I to judge?
I thank Clint for getting my door before getting off and walking into the mall to find my friends. I text Lyn asking where they are and she says they are at the spa. I speed walk there and spot them having manicures. I kiss all of them hello.
"I thought my brother wouldn't let you out as he promised." Mia playfully scowls and I roll my eyes. We get our manicure done and we decide to have a pedicure too.
"I think Neil is going to propose to me soon," Lyn says out of nowhere and we all look at her.
"How do you know?" Mia asks.
"Yes, how do you know? Cause I didn't know when that idiot Colin would propose, I was told to get Kay to that beach for Theo to propose. Then boom Colin was there down on one knee with a velvet box asking me to marry him." Hazel reminisces holding out her manicured hand for us to look at her diamond ring.
"We got played that day. I thought Colin was going to propose to you, little did I know Theo too planned to ask me to marry him." I blush looking at my ring.
"Well, yours was better than mine. You three tricked me that you were going with me to the movies to watch the release of Avengers end game only to find that there was no movie, only Ryan. I get it's romantic, but you two broke my heart by actually making me think I would get to watch the premiere." Mia huffs and we laugh.
"I thought you were over that!" Hazel exclaims and we laugh even harder.
"Well he started talking about him and me in the future, we talked about kids and moving into a bigger place," Lyn says and we all nod.
"Maybe... We don't know but even if we did, we would never tell you and ruin the surprise." Mia says as they finish up our pedicure.
We hit a salon next getting my hair cleaned and moisturized while I wait for Lyn, Hazel, and Mia to finish up theirs.
"You should braid your locks, Kay. It's possible you know." Mia says and I roll my eyes having had this conversation of how she thinks I would look good with braided hair instead of dreadlocks bore the hell out of me.
"For the millionth time, I like my hair like this," I respond.
After that, we hit the clothing stores. They all got sexy outfits while I got maternity clothes though I had to admit I found some sexy dresses for pregnant women.
After shopping, we hit the make-up store. I got new lipstick colors and eye shadows. Taking some new brushes and lip gloss.
We then have lunch at a small restaurant. I have Clint get the bags to the car before we walk to the park. Buying ice cream we find an empty bench.
"I miss this," Mia says.
"Me too." I, Lyn, and Hazel say at the same time and we laugh.
"I suggest we always do this. What do you say, ladies? " Mia asks and we all nod. After volunteering to walk the dogs at the park we hit the movies.
"Let's watch a horror movie." Lyn proposes chuckling evilly and I shake my head no.
Over my dead body is going to watch that.
