I take the engagement ring off my finger and I walk over to where Theo is.
"Take it. Now I'm not your girlfriend or fiancee. I will send someone to get my things. Now leave." I throw the engagement ring into his chest.
"You are not my fiancee, but you still are pregnant with my kids!" He yells again and Mia steps in front of me.
"She is pregnant with your kids, so is Isabella. Go to her brother. We both know who sent you here. Go stay with that bitch yo-" Mia retorts but Theo cuts her off with a slap across her face.
Mia cries out in pain as she rubs her face. Truly, Isabella has him wrapped around her finger.
"What's happening here loves?" Robert asks walking over to us with Shawn, both of them shirtless.
"Nothing boys, this idiot was just leaving. Please show him out." Mia states and Theo huffs glaring at me before leaving.
"I am sorry Mia. I s-" I apologize.
"Don't dare apologize for that sick brother of mine. What did Isabella do to him?" Mia asks shaking her head.
"I always ask myself that question," I respond.
"So what are you going to do?"
"I think I'll leave the city, go somewhere far where he can't find me," I reply.
"Alright but just stay with me and Ryan okay. Till everything cools down okay?" Mia asks and I nod.
We decide to call it a day. I drive Mia to her place so we can take her truck to go pick up my things.
Minutes later, Mia pulls up at Theo's mansion. Walking in with Mia we go directly to what used to be my room. Packing all my clothes in my suitcases and taking my art pieces with me, we leave.
I settle down in Mia and Ryan's apartment taking one of the guest rooms. After dinner, I excused myself to go rest considering I just had a long day and tomorrow would belong as well.
Taking a bath and changing into my nightdress I do pray then get into bed.
Waking up, as usual, throwing up, and feeling the urge to pee and piss now and then. After drying my face I walk to the kitchen where I find Mia and Ryan making out.
"Get a room you two." I tease making Mia pull away from Ryan's body.
"Good morning Kaylee, I hope you slept well," Ryan says sipping his coffee knowing he doesn't go anywhere without having his coffee.
"Yes, I did. I don't know where my phone is though. I swear I had it before I went to sleep." I say pouring pineapple juice for myself.
"I don't think you even need it," Mia says looking away and I sense something fishy.
"Why?" I ask.
"Mia! Look what you've done. You'll stress her and we both know it's not good for her pregnancy." Ryan hisses lowly at Mia and I frown.
"What are you two not telling me?" I ask impatiently.
"It's Theo." Mia starts.
"He was seen with Isabella yesterday at a restaurant all over her kissing and holding hands and..." Ryan discloses.
"Kaylee, the media says they announced that they are back together and when they were asked about you, Theo said that you are just pregnant with his kids and once you give birth there will be nothing between you two. He also called you a lot of bad names." Mia explains and my heart sinks.
I take a seat on the kitchen counter thinking of how heartbroken I feel this second.
"Are you okay Kaylee ?" Ryan walks over to me and I nod my head.
No, I'm not fine. Theo just tore my heart into pieces but I'm pregnant. I refuse to stress myself about those two.
"I have a doctor's appointment today," I say walking back to the guest bedroom.
Taking a shower and getting dressed I hear a knock on the door.
"Come in," I say turning towards the door to see Ryan and Mia standing there both dressed.
"Can we take you to the doctor's appointment?" Mia asks and I nod.
"Yes. Thank you, both of you." I say as they pull me in a group hug.
We lock up and take Ryan's car heading to the clinic. Once there, Lydia, the receptionist sends us to a room where the doctor will be meeting me.
"Kaylee!" Dr. Clarke calls out and I giggle.
"Yes, the one and only." I grin and he chuckles turning to greet Mia and Ryan.
"Your boyfriend isn't joining us today ?" Dr. Clarke inquires.
I nod.
He pours the gel and puts the wand on my stomach. He points at my now-grown babies. I should get used to it but I'm not. Hearing their heartbeat makes my eyes water. Must be the pregnancy hormones.
"You are having girls Kaylee." Dr. Klein says and I look at him then back to the screen.
"Girls?" I ask again not sure I heard right.
"Yes, girls." He clarifies and I smile.
"This is a dream come true," Mia says and we all laugh as she cries.
Cleaning up we exit the clinic and head to Mia's fashion show venue, everything is set. We have lunch with the models and the make-up team before getting ready for the show.
I take a taxi to Ryan's apartment to start getting ready.
"Kaylee is that you?" Ryan yells appearing from the kitchen.
"Yes, it's me," I respond.
"There's a delivery here for you." He says pointing at the wrapped-up box with my name on it.
"Weird," I mutter.
Opening the wrapper a bad smell ambushes me making me scowl. Opening the box I am met by a dead snake. I scream and drop the box making the snake fall off the box and into the floor.
"What the fuck!" Ryan shouts staring at the dead snake. Kneeling he gets a note in the box.
"Be gone before I come for you." Ryan reads the note. He looks up to where I'm standing my body shaking.
"Kaylee, someone is threatening you. We need to report this." Ryan says pulling my shaking body in for a hug.
"Ryan. I need your help." I plead.
"Anything for you Kaylee. Anything." He affirms and I tell him my plan.
"Everyone will be upset Kaylee, do you want to do this?" He asks and I nod.
"Let me get ready then." He says.
Slipping my jungle green tight dress and two-inch black wedges, I take my jungle green clutch.
Looking at myself in the mirror, the dress hugging me like a second skin. Showing off my curves. I didn't bother to put on make-up since I wasn't really into it plus we were running late.
Ryan gets one of the drivers to drive us to the show, in silence.
