The joy of being a mother, Only a mother would know. It has been Eleven months since they were born and I would say they inherited everything from their father. From their blue eyes, perfect-shaped pink lips, and that nose, it is his. It breaks my heart a bit when Alessia and Amara look at me since all I see is him. Every time Alessia scrunched her face reminded me about the times Theo tasted the food he cooked or when I told him that diaper change will be his job.

Every time Amara would look at me when she's feeding, those big doe eyes looking at me, would remind me of the times Theo would stare at me when he thought I wasn't looking. Even when I asked him why he is looking at me like that he would just smile and continued to look at me like I'm the only woman he sees. It was the love in his eyes that I see in both my daughters.

Now that they are Eleven months old, I had stopped breastfeeding them and started feeding them some solid food and formula.

Mary is their nanny now, being the only person I trust in the mansion. I still work out with Lance. Grandma had left with Grandpa only recently to go back to New York to attend the company's charity event.  I insisted they take a break from me and the kids since they have been the greatest help, waking up at odd hours of the night to cater to the twins' needs. I'm forever grateful. Grandpa named me the company's COO and I couldn't be happier, we had agreed that he would choose one of his trusted workers to be the temporary CEO until I'm ready.

Hazel and Colin got married a garden wedding. I was the maid of honor, obviously. They had their baby boy, Jonathan. He's a handful and lovely.

Mia and Ryan also had a baby boy, Ethan who I must say is a handsome little thing. Mia and Ryan had their private wedding at the beach which I attended.

Neil and Lyn also got their baby girl, Tanasha who is the spitting image of Lyn. Happily married.

Ariana and Shawn are expecting and her baby shower is four months away.

Alexander and Amelia moved into a beach house insisting that they wanted to enjoy their life before their time was over which was dramatic if you ask me. They are not even sixty.

As for my love life, I wasn't interested in anyone at the moment. All I thought was Alessia and Amara, they are my life.

Eleven months of peace and happiness, every day I prayed that no harm would come to us. But we all know, there's always a calm before a storm and I pray we all have the strength to get through everything that is going to be thrown at us.

Finishing up the work grandpa sent me, I email it back to him before shutting off my laptop. It's been a long day, all I want is to just have a long warm bubble bath with a glass of wine. Letting out a sigh I get up from the chair and head towards my room.

Passing by the twins' room, I hear giggling and I stop.  It's late, why aren't they asleep?  I ask myself.

Slowly opening the door, I find both of them sleeping, kissing both their cheeks before leaving the room. Before I can move, I hear the giggling again. Opening the door, I switch on the lights again only to find them asleep. Deciding to be the fun mother I am, I kiss them goodnight again noticing they are not in the same position I left them. I switch off the lights, opening the door, and closing it. I could make out their small figures looking at each other and giggling again.

"Boo!" I exclaim and they both let out a scream making me laugh hysterically.

"Mama," Alessia calls out and I walk over to their small beds.

"Yes, Alessia?" I reply.

Alessia points over the small bookshelf I had made for them, filled with kids' books, mostly bedtime stories.
